Xydexx Squeakypony (Powerword: Karl Jorgensen) is a 49 year old Anthrocon board member (Official title: Publications Director) with an inflatable fetish. He ticks off a lot of boxes that a stereotypical furry would tick off, from being unattractive in real life, to putting in his Twitter bio about how much he hates anyone he perceives to be a Nazi, to denying the fandom is fetish related despite having a character based around his fetish.

What really sets Karl apart from the crowd is his tendency to get involved in internet fights, his narcissism around trolls, and his history of chimping out at anyone who he thinks is a troll dating back all the way to 2000. To this day, he still gets into internet fights, and is pals with a lot of the leftist furries on Twitter.

On December 13, 1993, Karl started his path to degeneracy by joining FurryMUCK at the age of 25. He created his fursona, an inflatable pony, and started roleplaying online. 2 years later, in 1995 he started going to furry conventions, and in 1997 he went to the first Anthrocon. Originally his online presence was mostly on usenet and not notable at all, until he bought the xydexx.com domain in the year 1999. A few months later in early 2000, he created an “inflatable fetish page” on his website, at the age of 31, posting crotch shots and whatnot of his inflatables.

He would insist that this website was also 100% serious, not some elaborate joke, and he also bragged about owning 50-100 inflatables. He also was building a horse inflatable at the same time and had a build log for it.

Not long afterwards, this is where he’d get his first burst of attention on the internet. People thought his website was an elaborate joke, since it would have been a joke by web 1.0 humor standards. Due to this, he was featured on About.com’s “Worst of the Internet” page next to other web 1.0 humor sites since it had to be a joke. I mean nobody would actually want to fuck a pooltoy right?

But yet in his website he insisted he was 100% serious, and craved attention.

That is, until Portal of Evil found him.

Now Portal of Evil (and it’s spinoff site PoeTV) had a reputation for documenting and cataloging the worst of the internet and furries tended to be one of their main targets naturally, causing him to chimp the fuck out and delete everything. Years later he’d brag about it like it was some kind of victory on the trolls, despite the fact that the title of the replies show he was being laughed at obviously. Keep this in mind, because this is a pattern with him.

Of course, a year or so later he put this website back up, got featured in PC Gamer Magazine, and would brag about his website years later on Twitter.

Something else worth mentioning was the whole reindeer theft incident rumor. See, in 2002 an inflatable reindeer was stolen from a Virginia mall (in a neighboring county to his current location), and later found in someones backyard. The rumor is that he uploaded a video of this to his website, then deleted it when he realized it could be used as evidence. He denies this, yet it fit in so much with his character that it was talked about on his ED page with this talking about it too.

During this time period he also went to college twice, both in 1992 and 2002-03, both times at Purchase College for “Philosophy”.

Outside of wanting to hump inflatables, Karl’s other claim to fame is editing the Anthrocon conbook. In 2002 (when he was 34), he started editing the conbook (the books you get when you go to a furry con that have the panels nobody gives a shit about in) and became a part of Anthrocon’s board of directors, and in images of them can be seen with Uncle Kage, his husband, and more.

Working for Anthrocon for free is also a major thing in his LinkedIn profile, and it’s front and center on his page, above his current job. He openly brags about working for free on his Twitter account as well.

Karl also has used his websites to fight a PR fight for the furry fandom. He runs a website called Furry Fandom Infocenter, where he attempts to introduce the furry fandom to new people in a sanitized manner (similar to how a furry con will tell the news media it’s not about sex so the hotels in the area don’t run them out of town, like with Rainfurrest 2015). Nothing about sex is mentioned on the site, not even in an “Oh there’s sex but FEW PEOPLE do that I swear” type of way. Nope, nothing, except for a mention in a reposted article about Further Confusion from 2003.

Karl VS the trolls
Remember how Karl deleted everything when Portal of Evil found him? Well, during the 2000s Karl found himself target of both Something Awful goons, and Encyclopedia Dramatica. Probably his most notable fight of this time period was in 2011 (at the age of 43) when he got into a fight with the furry and former (at the time underage too) ED editor Equivamp (who has a page of her own on that site) on his Wikifur talk page, which involved him screeching at Greenreaper too about the burned furs.

However perhaps the biggest thing he did towards ED was make a web page on his own personal website whining about ED and how bad ED was, multiple times, with the web page also attacking some others he hated in the fandom too, with Fedsmoker tier rants about how others wronged him.

Being a furry with a reputation for attracting drama like a magnet, Karl found Twitter to be a second home for him. He’s found company with the leftist furries, but don’t take my word for it. Just look at his display name, who’s in the "you may also like" section, and his pinned tweet.

Ah, Sam Conway's furry propaganda minster and one of his inner circle of perverts. As DemonBox said, a good catch, OP.

Xydexx compulsively googles his character/furry name, so expect him to show up on the Farms shortly. Much as I hate to admit it, he's actually clever at Internet arguments so my recommendation is, don't engage or debate with him. He loves converting 'Internet trolls' over to furry and can be persistent; talking to him's kind of like talking to the Devil when he appears before you with a GREAT business deal.

So be sure to hit him with a 'get thee behind me!' and send him packing back to his room full of inflatable deer he likes to fuck.

EDIT: Oh, regards his 'furries who don't like furry anymore' essay - yay, that's just what I need to enjoy a fandom, Xydexx. A bunch of dissertations, rules and axioms.

@Steve Winwood Showed me a picture of this dude in a labcoat and a purple tie and I had a flashback to Otakon 2001 where a guy had a table in the artist's alley and he looked similar to this dude. Might be a coincidence, though.

Perhaps the thing that insults me the most is how he seems to be against all thoughts of self awareness in the fandom. I get it, people don’t decide what they like, but shit, is there something wrong with demanding that they know it’s weird and not take it so seriously? It really baffles me. Are furries not allowed to be angry about what the fucks at Rainfurrest did to make the rest of them look bad? If so, fuck this fandom, and it would undoubtedly lose about half of its population.

Uncle Kage is prison lockdown on furry media coverage at his fiefdom: anthrocon, but I don't think he enforces uniformity of thought. Xydexx's vision isn't complete lockdown like Kage instead he wants glamorous coverage to flood in and fill him with asspats and positivity and the great taste of degeneracy. He wants to destroy all "detractors" that say anything negative with his keyboard warrioring. Ofcourse he would take offense to an article stating "furries are creepy" just for the premise. He wants his deep-rooted and in-your-face desire to fuck pooltoys to be "cute and weird" and for people to nod in approval sagely at him.

A little off topic here, but Uncle Kage himself isn't as squeaky clean as he lets on. He has a "hidden" fursona called Rogue the macrowolf, wherein he gets off to crushing buildings, killing people and all sorts of other horrifying things. It's sick.

So this isn't surprising to me in the slightest.

I wouldn't be surprised that he's not squeaky clean, I don't think anyone is, but as for that, I've only heard it as a rumor and never saw any definite concrete evidence pointing to that conclusion. I haven't done that much research on it either, so I'm not going to claim that I'm right or wrong on this. If you've got some interesting stuff on it, PM me, though, as I'd love to see it.

Though if that's true, at least he's separated the personas for it. Xydexx doesn't do that.

Yeah, Xydexx is kind of the ultimate version of the archetypical furry. He utterly, zealously loves furry and he needs EVERYONE to love furry and love him for being a furry. For a guy who’s outward demeanor is one of presentability and self confidence, he seems to need a lot of unconditional acceptance and affection.
