Zaush / Adam Wan - Popular furry artist with a penchant for being rapey & an ego that could black out the sun

Missed this during the recent firestorm. I found their optimism refreshing.

Now that her and Dragoneer are done for good, maybe she'll be willing to speak on it again.
I doubt it. Sciggles is only out to raise her popularity so I doubt she'll say anything scathing about Zaush. She hasn't even come out with shit she has against Dragoneer, beyond blaming him for putting her into debt over him falsely signing her name on a loan for windows. And she didn't even mention him by name and only even said anything at all to panhandle from the internet.

I think she's mostly out of furry circles nowadays because of her new brony boyfriend.

Ah but see, that's why I think she might be more willing to now. She's been backing away from the furry fandom since cucking Dragoneer with her brony fuckboy, now she has a kid as well. She has no obligations to the fandom or have to fear repercussions to her popularity.

Update on the petition, IMVU is working to talk with FA staff about the situation of Zaush.

Hoping this will do something, it's a plus. Might be enough to make Sean budge his lardass for once:

i find this kind of weird and weasel wordy. they own FA and could literally dictate whatever the fuck they want. I don't know why they have to be all meek:
we operate completely separately. If any action is to be taken, it will happen happen within the FA community. Thanks for your understanding.

If they are trying to make this Dragoneer's final decision he is going to always side with his buddy over the detractors.

Do we know the actual terms of IMVU's "ownership" over FurAffinity? Like was the contract/agreement ever leaked or otherwise shared publicly? Maybe they don't have as much control as we had assumed -- or -- maybe IMVU has finally realized just how bad of a purchase they made and they're in the process of attempting to divest the website.

That's if they have the kind of morality.

I worry that IMVU is in the same unenviable position that most furries willingly accept - they need furry porn for their endeavors and and the end of the day Zaush gets a get out of jail free card, as they think they need his content. I reall hope not but all I know of IMVU implies it’s just another porn site.

Think of it like Blizzard-Activision. They're owned by one company, but Blizzard and Activision also function separately. That's what's going on with FA. It's more of a subsidiary that still operates on it's own.

Zaush is too integrated into furry and a large source of ad revenue. Assuming they do a damn thing, it won't amount to more than a slap on the wrist due to the conversation being a "grey area".

It'll be absolutely hilarious if he gets banned (especially considering his mocking of the events), but c'mon; FA is a business and Zaush is $$$$

The weird thing is that Zaush is largely inactive on FA. He'll post one or two things a month, but otherwise isn't doing much to draw in new users or new revenue, particularly when most of his content can be found on e621 or through his Patreon. Him being as popular as he is is largely worthless when he hardly uses the site.

Given how little IMVU wants to do anything with FA, I'm still surprised they didn't properly make it into a subsidiary (i.e. operating "FurAffinity, LLC" instead of directly operating furaffinity.net) so their name isn't plastered all over it.

They were so happy to plaster their name all over it at first, but it's clear now they don't care about the site and only see it as a way to serve ads.

When will they just pull the plug???

I'd like to hear more about that - it's very clear to see that they're not prominently advertising their relationship to FA any longer, but have there been any other reports or leaks?

And I do ask that same question, when are they going to cut FA loose? It seems like a waste of money and furries certainly didn't respond well to the perception that the TOS allowed IMVU to use their art without compensation or something like that; I don't recall what the argument was but I do remember a lot of comments along the lines of F.U. IMVU, you can't have my art -
