Kodak did in fact think that digital was not the future due to the quite obvious limitations of the hardware/software at the time.

Examples:

The megapixels at the time (less then 0.9) and not to mention the memory capacity (mere MB) were not up to the standards that Kodak had (full bright photos, more pictures per roll of film) and the fact that you didn't have to buy a $2000 computer to use a Kodak camera. Cant really fault them for their shrugging off digital at its heyday.

But staying on topic, Kodak could at least edit a commercial. Phil couldn't edit a sentence.

I just have to add something really personal. If you see a guy like Phil, Chris chan, or someone that you feel is unfairly treated on the internet. Do the research first. It may not be worth you time. Even though there are aspects that make it seem like a person is being unfairly treated, it may not be worth even looking in to. Extreme personalities attract others that is just like that.

I only tried to be nice, I never envisioned what path of depression and agony it would take me down. Phil is a terrible person. It's not the adpocolypse, or any other factors then himself that have put him where he is today. Go sap to the extreme, but ground yourself so you don't shock yourself in the process. It's not worth trying to help a person that can't help himself.

I wish phil would stop drinking and become less delusional. It's his horrible contents fault, and not algorithms or outside interference that fucks him. No one owes him anything. He needs to get his life in order, Enough victims of his toxic personality have been had. Forgive me for trying to help him. It was a completely lost and failed cause.

Rate me :autism: or :powerlevel: if you want but i swear to god, everytime you've shown up lately is to make people pity you because you've taken horrible decisions in your life, you are saying things that everyone and their mother have said upwards of 150+ times in this 2.5k+ reply thread.

This is also a big misconception that people (In this site and detractors in general) want Phil to change or to "become a better person". They don't, if anything the ones that want him to change are either A-Logs or actual fans of his. It's like an Animal Planet documentary, you are just supposed to watch, not intervene.

Stop making it sound like you found Jesus or something in your life and now you are struggling with the changes or whatever. We are just here to laugh at a manchild and his antics and it allways ruins the whole "feel" of it when people start taking it so seriously like you do.

You were trying to help him, you were trying to be a good friend, I can understand that. But like most cow threads on this website say at the top "Dont bother helping so-and-so"

I'm glad you finally understand that some people cant be helped Vidar.

You were once a cow but now you can roam greener pastures since you woke up to Phils bullshit.

You've become a better person (and honestly alot funnier) since you realized your faults.

I guess some of your post is a fair criticism, but on the topic of people posting the things they do:

Even though people like Vidar have at times been frustrating, the fact they still post what they do, even if it has changed dramatically over time is a quality and not a fault (imho).

Yes, sorry about that. You see, I was wrong and made mistakes. It makes you a little bitter. I thought it was time to make amends. I will only be cynical from now on :)

Glad that you have seen him for what he is and glad that you are self-aware of what being a part of that cancer did.

There was a time when people thought you were beyond help and that your adamant defense of Phil would never end. Nobody is beyond hope but some people just never allow themselves to see what is making them do what they are doing. It is said that some people need to see rock bottom before they make any positive changes. Those tend to be the people who seem hopeless. I agree that some may not be worth your time as sometimes an individual isn't enough to make them realize the error of their ways, but there's nothing wrong with trying. I'll admit that I hate Phil, not because of his content but because of the way he treats the people that put food on his table. I've said it before, treat the detractors like shit, whatever, but have some appreciation for your fans.

Still, what Vidar is doing in here is the equivalent of a GDQ donation.

People stayed with hitler to the end. It was loyal people that made decisions against their own best self interest. It's quite hard to realize that you are supporting a lost cause. Most people that support phil does that of altruistic motives. It's just very undeserved.

I actually lost my father to cancer but it was 5 years ago. not one. get your facts straight.
