I know i'm kind of necroing this thread, but it seems a video has leaked from Failure Terminated's discord server the same day Jonathan Ross went on the first Kumite with Metokur. But the interesting thing is that Geekthulu was talking to Ross and at one point seemed to agree with him that his 5 year old sister giving him a footjob in the bathtub was normal.

I found this, Failure is one of the co-hosts of The Morning Kumite by the way. This seems to take place BEFORE he went on the Kumite with Metokur, which seems to be corroborated by Ross mentioning that he talked to Geekthulu and Failure before the show.

When watching, I thought that maybe this was just a way to get Ross to be more comfortable when talking to Geek. But if you look at the comment section....Geek actually replied to the uploader of the video defending himself about it.

So interesting story. I have a board that I use to archive doxxes for the public, recently I was fucking around in the settings and I noticed I had two items in my report queue. So I looked at what was there. The reports were for Tonkasaw and VampKandy's doxxes, citing "illegal doxxing". I'm willing to bet with a high degree of certainty that Tonka was the one who reported them. The reason I say this is because other than Tonka and Vamp, the only other post was Geek's dox. Meaning that whoever reported didn't give a fuck about Geekthulu getting doxxed.

The problem with this as a CW thread is that the average user cannot gather an even loose idea of what this community is or who the key players are from the OP. They should not have to read several other threads to be able to follow this one. If that's the case, this thread is redundant and unnecessary.

I stand by my statement that this either gets a new OP, and I don't care who writes it, or it gets locked/deleted. Proving Grounds is not a permanent thread home.

Yeah, apologies to MtPA but I thought the whole point of reopening this thread was so that people wouldn't need to follow a dozen different overlapping lolcow threads for info on drama involving all parties.

JFG is currently one of my favorite lolcows and even I still don't know what's going on in this thread 85% of the time and it's still necessary to read all the related threads to glean anything from this. It might as well be written in Swahili.

On December 17th, 2017, Twitter user @WeWuzMetokur tweeted a screenshot from the “Morning Kumite” YouTube stream along with the message “Internet Bloodsports” .

Spread
On December 21st, 2017, YouTuber Thunderf00t uploaded a video titled “Kraut and Tea and the Alt-right,” which discussed topics raised in Internet Bloodsports videos .

On January 4th, 2018, YouTuber Andywarski streamed a debate between Richard Spencer and Sargon of Akkad. Within two months, the video received upwards of 450,000 views and 22,600 comments.

On January 31st, 2018, the blog Right Wing Watchpublished an article titled “Welcome to YouTube ‘Bloodsports,’ The Alt-Right’s Newest Recruiting Tool.” On February 15th, a thread titled “Internet Bloodsports Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne” was submitted to Kiwi Farms. Two days later, YouTuber Mister Metokur uploaded a video titled “Internet Bloodsports,” explaining the history of the YouTube series.

On February 25th, 2018, the website InternetBloodsports.net was launched, which highlights the Morning Kumite, Warski Live and Baked Alaska YouTube streams.

Somehow Kiwi Farms is so associated with this mess that nobody from here even knew.

It seems like at its core, most of them are (or were) supposed to be "debates". Seeing as a healthy number of them were former GamerGate guys I assume most of it have it ingrained in them that any dispute or disagreement can be "debated' away.

Then when it became apparent none of them could actually argue with anyone worth a fuck, it quickly devolved into essentially playing the dozens with a bunch of other jackasses to try and maintain superiority of banter. Going back to GG, a lot of these guys (Sargon, Matt, Ii guess Quartering would count, etc and so on) have this idea that they're widely seen as spicy intellectuals and most are afraid to directly confront them. Bloodsports gives them a chance to do what they keep threatening to do; "debate" their enemies into obscurity.

Then the other side just seems to constantly refer back to Howard Stern and Opie and Anthonys "Jocktober" shows, where they just want to fuck with idiots. They themselves being idiots themselves never really becoming a concern.

I love the shit. I hope this little subculture goes on for years.
