Since Boogie has worked on websites before and he knows that people want to see his Francis videos and other skits without them being demonetized you'd think that he would set up a site for that and do other hosting for him, but I know that would take effort and we know just by looking at him that's too much.

Boogie comes off as a nice guy in his videos which are the main way people are exposed to him. They don't bother to view his Twitter or Twitch channel or even look up his antics on Reddit or other media. Because of this it's easier to manipulate the feelings of viewers and get those asspats he craves more than a triple decker burger because they'll never know better.

The thing is this wouldn’t be such a bad tweet if he was trying to be nice in person, too. No one is born a better person. You have to try.

It's comfortable for him, and right up til the divorce he very likely never really felt any repercussions for never dealing with it. Because it's comfy and he's lazy, he might have convinced himself the divorce was a one-off, and he can continue to behave as normal with no problems.

And he can, since Hambly didn't/likely won't release the tapes. He got all the fun of screaming at the fat idiot and none of the flak for having done so. When he heard rumblings of people getting to hear unflattering material of him, he turned it back into an attack on him. And it worked.

Barring the divorce, he doesn't change because he keeps "winning" by behaving the way he does. And he's likely convinced himself the wife was the problem with the divorce in the first place.

Hopefully I can shed some light on this with some armchair psych.

When you are abused as a child, your brain literally develops differently. Your brain develops to try and cope with all that stress. This is not to say you’re happy, because it traumarizes you nonetheless, but you’re more comfortable in it. You normalize the behavior to cope. And then your brain searches it out to try and find what it knows. Boogie may be doing this. He may be using the same harmful coping mechanisms he learned or even recreating his abuse, because he’s used to it, and it hurts everyone else in the process.

Gassymexian will put up a video that he's streaming on Twitch and then after the stream delete it. It's better than having Twitch send the notification because you'll get spammed by them if you follow too many people. So far not a lot of people have abandoned Youtube completely for another medium, but they do use it to help supplement income.

You also get Twitch streamers who use Youtube just to archive videos.

I'm sure there are people that do that, but they are all small nobodies. If you have such a following on YouTube, why not just put the video THERE instead of just putting a video saying it's solely on your website? It doesn't make sense to do.
