I always just got the impression they're not used to being on camera. They seem to be around or in the background for quite a lot of the stuff I've seen. I doubt they understand the whole internet reviewer thing, and by that token I don't think they'd have watched a great deal of his content or know that even within the internet reviewer game Doug is yesterday's news, he's small fry. That's all just speculation on my end though. They're probably happy he's making money.
