Under 18 is considered pedophilia under many laws, as long it isn't covered under Romeo and Juliet laws. So a 18 & 17 is okay, but 23 & 17 is not. At age 17, you're still v immature, and there is a very large maturity gap. So even if you aren't a pedophile as in "interested in prepubescent kids," you're still a creepy abuser.

The issue being that the technical terms (ehebephilia, hebephilia, etc) for other agephilias towards minors are used by the MAP community as a way of trying to normalize their behavior.

Only like 10 states have the AoC at 18. Romeo and Juliet laws are in place to protect teens that may otherwise be committing statutory rape, an example would be a 15 year old female under the age of consent having sex with a 17 year old male who is above it, or two 15 year old teens who would be by an odd legal technicality both be committing statutory.

There's a noticeable distinction between preying on a nearly grown college-aged woman with the means to properly tell CA fuckheads where to shove it and the same CA fuckheads abusing literal elementary school children.

As listed earlier in the conversational thread, it's still creepy and I don't condone it, but there's a pretty big difference in severity between the two.

LittleKuriboh tends to be pretty aimless and distracted at conventions, whereas Kirbopher is always incredibly busy at the conventions I've seen him at. I doubt they really had any awareness of Psyguy's sexual exploits until after he was exposed.

Unless there's legit posts of them saying "Yeah we knew he was a pedo sexual harasser and didn't do anything about it" I hesitate to call that enabling a pedophile. Anything otherwise is guilt by association, and that's a really sketchy way to look at things especially given the nature of this thread actually having evidence against Channel Awesome.
