I don't really have a strong opinion on whether or not it should be illegal. It's fucking gross, that's for sure, but it's not necessary to harm an actual child in order to make it, so I don't think it should be considered just as bad as actual CP.

The removal of such content to people who have those fantasies and have issues controlling themselves means that they might get real cp (or worse, do it themselves), but on the flipside one could argue that allowing such content would also be encouragement, which both are slippery slopes in general. It's not a problem if the viewer enjoys it for the sake of enjoying petite women but the moment it's a true child involved is when someone should likely seek help, as to sexualize a pre-pubescent person is unnatural. People are meant to be attracted to signs of fertility (such as curves in women).

Now, everyone has each of their own fetishes, absolutely - The point of this post is to stress that it's not natural to be sexually attracted to someone who's physically unable to have a child because of their youth. To regulate distribution rather than to completely cut or to completely allow would probably better serve the purposes of those worried about the outcome of such allowance.

I think context plays a role here. While I do agree that drawn violence against kids shouldn't be wrong in a legal sense I think it's still wrong morally. Not to mention I think lolicon has two varying meanings in both an eastern and a western sense and during the days in which anime and manga started gaining a mainstream following in Japan Lolita meant really anything.

Kinda going off topic but it's still loosely related to the subject. A lot of these people just really can't control themselves. Anyone really into how a pedophile's mind works should try to watch a lot of shit like raw uncut footage of conversations between Chris Hansen and actual predators during classic episodes of the original program. There's a lot to learn about it and it's incredibly fascinating yet stomach turning. You really fucking feel bad for these people but then you remember the horrible things they say and potential threat they pose to our most innocent and defenseless members of society, children.

Like you want to beat the shit out of these people, but also get them help because a lot of these idiots seem completely harmless (at least from a first glance). They always seem so socially inept and underdeveloped.
