so his birthday week has garnered him about 1k altogether not too bad but his issue is he has now depleted his paypaigs for April which means he is now going to suffer in the long term.

Which goes to question WHY was he trying to get about 3k quickly just justifies the staycation theory as he keeps drip feeding that narrative. Grats Phil you have now fucked yourself for the month as April is quiet before releases start coming in May onward.

"Wow, thanks for the support guys!"
"You did a good job so I and Kat can stay in this house."
"Unfortunately, we were |-------------------------------| this close to not hitting my imaginary goal.... that's bad."
"I was biting my nails wondering if i'd have to take a loss on my condo that's collecting dust."

Yeah I've always thought he actually doesn't want to be big, it's like he has some sort of victim syndrome in that he wants to be the contrarian, underground, niche guy. Part of me thinks he likes to be hated, again with the victim syndrome.

Perfect example - Sea of Thieves comes out, he makes a video about it saying how all the reviewers these days just buy into hype and constantly praise games because they're sell outs and not real reviewers but DSP isn't like that he goes against the grain and he's a REAL TRUE AHNEST reviewer and Sea of Thieves sucks so don't buy into everyone else who is just kissing the games ass and thats all reviewers do these days is kiss ass of games as they're all paid off, listen to DSP who is fighting the good fight! Then two weeks later, Far Cry 5 - "All reviewers these days are whiny little brats, its just negative negative negative." He talks about how all they do is shit on games these days as they get good views and get attention and all it is these days is a negative atmosphere. But not Phil, he's a REALT RUE AHNEST REVIEWER and Far Cry 5 is awesome so don't buy into everyone else who is just being a negative whiny brat as thats what is popular these days!

In the span of two weeks he's said two completely opposite statements. Gaming culture can't be both entirely paid off and just a bunch of suckers who kiss games ass and buy into hype of low quality games, and also really negative and fully of whiny people who just crap on games. They're both opposites. They're both clearly untrue, however its not DSP being hypocritical without realising. In both these cases he gets to be different from the norm. Sea of Thieves is being praised - he differs from the norm. Far Cry 5 isn't getting praised - he differs from the norm. Thats why he does to make himself feel special and unique. He tries to be the one that differs from everyone else. Even though "everyone else" to him is this completely made up myth to make himself feel special. He does the same thing with "other Twitch streamers" and "THE BIG YOOTOOBERS" these big fantasies he's completely made up to make himself feel special even though he does the same practices as the other Youtubers and Twitch streamers.
Further to this, in both those examples DSP was completely wrong about what the consensus actually was. Sea of Thieves was generally received as a disappointment and got average reviews. Far Cry 5 has got very positive reviews. It's not being hailed as a classic or anything, but the consensus is it's very good. So not only is he flip-flopping to stay an edgy outsider, he's completely wrong about the critical consensus in both cases. So he's either being wilfully ignorant of the gaming community or just straight up lying about them.

Phil is one of those people who just says whatever makes him look best at any given moment and worries about the consequences later. His "honesty " is something that exists on a completely separate plane from reality.

Dont worry he always comes up with something new

Like for example he can celebrate his 2 next birthdays in advance and he can extend the celebration from 1 week to 1 month of constant hobo begging

I kinda felt mentally abstinent from the whole DSP-sphere for the last few days. Only liked a few posts, watched some kwality detraction, read along in our beloved subforum, but not with any interest. Maybe it's just me, but these last days were boring. Please enlighten me with the big LUL that I certainly missed this birthday-week. This is what I remember:
  • Oh jeez, more autists (Jkid). Certainly not interesting at all.
  • He fired a mod. Could be interesting because of some outspoken implications. I need to read in that again.
  • He pays for 2 internet-connections (could be an old story, I dunno).
  • Phil tries to be nice - And fails at the end. Now I feel stupid for believing in him.
  • Phil got a cake which looked boring but after further investigation it looked tasty. But other than that this whole party was cringe.
  • Phil missed the big opportunity to stream for over 2000 viewers after a stream-raid. Which is hilarious.
  • Phil has not reached any business-goal. Which is hilarious.
I don't want big explosions or big shockers, no no. Life is not a scripted movie, so if nothing happens, it's fine. But I eagerly wait for the not so surprising conclusions, if they are true:
  • The whole debate of banning this mod had the implication that Phil has no interest to reach a peaceful coexistence with the detractors, other than the mod himself. As said, I need to read in that again. But I won't be surprised because some people just won't like to have peace with their enemies cause they are right and not the stinkin bad boys, no matter what happens!
  • Lying about taxes. I surely think he has this problem but there is this big implication he uses this problem to fraud the audience.
  • He had no change of heart and snaps back to Old-Phil in his next stream because he was just massively desperate, can't hold being a nice person and will of course feel the effect. Maybe in a third ban.

I find it quite interesting that Phil said he can easily pay his house and everything else, at some point. And the only thing that fucks him over are the backtaxes.
Why then would he lose the house? If he pays for the house, electricity, gas, water, insurance, etc. then they are save - or am I fundamentally wrong here? I'm even sure they can't take his computer and stuff because he needs that for his job. If there isn't enough money left for the house then why not speak with the tax-people from the tax-office? I never understood his argument but I'm also not a business-guy.

Honest to fucking God, this fucking guy. Gets his highest viewership probably ever, a gift from the Gods for his birthday, a gift that might just give his business the boost it needs, but he can't clock in 1 hour of overtime to take advantage of it. An hour where he would basically just camp in PUBG and talk to people on stream anyway. As easy it fucking gets. It's either blind stupidity/laziness, or him showing his hand in that he isn't as desperate and poor as he makes out. And I don't know which scenario would be worst either.

Phil might be the biggest autism and a-log magnet in the world but fuck me if he also isn't the biggest detractor.

Yeah his next thing is the illness mystery - calling Diabetes, I dont think Phil is morally bankrupt enough to say cancer but I honestly would not be surprised (this person put more affection over a fucking cake than the person who made it.)

He will pull this in May the back taxes thing has failed as it has red - pilled more people and actually made him less money. In conjunction with losing the main paypigs. He will do a Wings of Redemption and drive for a set amount. He is painfully predictable at this point.

Seven days of festivities for the Gout King would happen
Seven days of begging, oh..could've fathom
USF2 and PUBG everyday was the journey
Never ate cake since childhood, he said mourning
Pig shouted in the morning
"I want it done with custom frosting in seven days"
Day and night the maid would work on the cake
She must haste or no "Fun Center" if she's late
His hunger, his hunger, he smelled as she was baking
She promised too much, the Pig was salivating
But alas, no cake she would make could satisfy his gout and snore
He shouted from the depths "Feed me Seymour!"
She shivered with fear and felt his words disgusting
"I can't bake cakes" she said "What's even 'custom frosting'?"
Her only option was buy one from the store
But knowing the pig wouldn't be happy, she brought four
The Pig was satisfy for now, in his love seat
At the final day, a cake he would eat
Begging and begging, seven days went by
Another 2k tax goal, another little lie
But surprise, surprise, is where his soulmate wouldn't be
On stream, who could've foresee
Candles gone too, what sad birthday
Little pig roach blowing the horn, was feeling little grey
Eating the cake, there he was,
All lonely, of course
Moaning and grunting making phony sexual noises for a penne
Showed again how miserable and lonely a 7 day festive birthday can be

I believe you are suffering from Phil Phatigue. His life for the past 4 months has been a constant maelstrom of event after event. I'm sure everyone has slightly different reasons as to exactly what gives them the LULZ, but for this week in particular it had to be (atleast for me) a grown man celebrating his 36th birthday for an entire week and then spitting on the perfect chance for some extra shekels at the very end.

If DSP was truly desperate(which I don't thinks he's even close) he can always file an extension on his taxes and not have to pay till mid October.

So Phil at one point had well over 2,000 viewers from Cryaotic hosting him, and instead of taking advantage of this opportunity to salvage his failed birthdayweek pitybucks fundraiser and perhaps gaining some new fans, he quickly ends the stream and leaves a lame "some things are more important than money, dood" message, presumably because he has to spend time with Kat. Really? He spent 12 hours streaming, the whole fucking day was all about him and the only time Kat was even brought up was when Phil was DEVOURING the cake, so that's bullshit. It's not like he even came close to his own goal, either. Phil is terrified at the thought of actually having to entertain people that are not already part of his cult because he knows he can't do it. He doesn't care at all about growing his channel, he just wants to squeeze as much as he can out of what remains. Can't wait to see how he tries to spin this one. I'm gonna guess when he "finds out" how much he owes, he's going to say it wasn't as much as he thought it would be and he raised enough to pay it off, wow guys thanks for saving mah house, quietly sweeping this under the rug and hoping his fans believe him until the next time he has to beg.

So do you think he permanently retires the "save muh house" scam or puts it on hold for a month or two? Regardless, he can't continue to use it indefinitely.
I'll be curious to see the new financial crisis he comes up with.

I'll be curious to see the new financial crisis he comes up with.

I think given his income has been declining over time, he's going to do it every single tax quarter, like he's already said.

A point of interest is that people were saying that if he went with a payment plan and missed a single payment he would be fucked. However, based on research this appears to be untrue. He would however get penalties for the missed payments and he would have to sign an agreement which would potentially put a tax warrant/lien on him.

If he did get a tax lien that would basically be, as the article I've linked below says "As bad as a bankruptcy":
“The impact a tax lien has on a consumer’s credit score depends on the consumer’s unique financial history, as well as the credit score model that’s being used,”
https://www.creditcards.com/credit-card-news/how-does-tax-lien-affect-credit-score.php

The other interesting thing I found when it comes to payment plans (at least state taxes, this doesn't necessarily apply for federal taxes) is that he may not even quality for a payment plan:

https://dor.wa.gov/file-pay-taxes/late-filing/delinquent-tax-collection-process

Note the "if you quality" part.

What's not really known is that these are state backtaxes with no malice or intent to defraud so its possible they are a whole lot more open to doing payment plans.

So the question here has really become, was Phil trying to raise money to bulk pay the entire back tax amount to avoid a potential tax lien? Is Phil being on a payment plan for his backtaxes actually just as bad as declaring bankruptcy in the first place?

Additional laws:

http://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=82.32.210

However, things get even more confusing once you read more:

My understanding of this, is that if Phil were to not declare bankruptcy and sell the house, which is undeniably his primary way he could actually pay off these backtaxes the state government might say fuck you and send him a bill for the entire amount, even if he was on a payment plan previously.

There are very many ways to read into this entire situation, but it looks even messier than most people have claimed it is ("oh he can just go on a payment plan!"). It really looks like whichever way Phil walks, besides declaring bankruptcy will be a huge series of compounding events involving the IRS, the Washington Department or Revenue, banks, credit card companies, mortgage companies and a million other people all sending him notices to pay at once.

It would seem that if he actually agrees to a payment plan he is essentially fully tying himself to staying in the Renton Palace until he fully settles the outstanding tax amount and if he ever decided to sell the state government might decide to say "fuck you" and force him to pay the entire amount.

Number of times Phil the arrogant bum talked about money: 121 (using bit, cheer, patreon, patron, sub, taxes, tip)

That means he was begging for money every 22 seconds on average.

And he chose to ditch with the raid for two reasons; he's a lazy shit and a fucking coward. He shat his pants in fear at having no control barring chat restriction, and then cried at the idea of playing more video games.

Guess it's time to invest in a degree like Phaillip.

I believe you are suffering from Phil Phatigue.
But I can't visit my doctor because he screwed me over last time. He literally said: "Okay Mister Wurstbrot, sir, I'm a real big fan of yours and here is the deal, okay? You should buy these medicines, but they literally get literal produced at the literal other side of the literal country. But you can easily order them through..." and then I needed to stop him because this was the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life, okay? So he literally want me to drive through the whole country just to buy these medicines against my vague problem. He literally said that, I'm not kidding. How am I able to do that?! I can't drive that long, I need to do my job and my vague illness doesn't allow me that. Uhm. So get this. I went to my boss and said: "Screw you boss, I can't travel through the whole country AND have my job, so I'm leaving now" so I was without a job. Nothing I could do.

So, long story short, I traveled through the whole country with my last money that I needed for my taxes. This whole journey was so looong and tedious, oh ma gawd. You would think they have free coffee for special people like me who sit down their asses for hours without moving. But nope, that stuff was expensive! I could hardly afford it, with my last money that I needed for my medicine. And then the train rumbles for a second and the whole coffee cup splashes over my new shirt. Now I was really screwed over, with coffee! Nothing I could do, what a bunch of idiots.

So I arrived at the destination and the medicine factory was not far away, I could just walk it. Uhm. But then the security-man at the frontgate told me I couldn't buy the medicine here, I should visit a pharmacy. And I was like WHUUAAAT? So let me get this straight. Right before me, no 100 metres in front of me, was the medicine I needed against my serious illness. And they couldn't even get me a small package, ack ack ack. This was so stupid. Right in front of me. Oh man. Right in front of me. I should run their company when they're so stupid. Oh man... right in front of me.

So not only did I not get the medicine. I had no money. I lost my job. Just because this conman of a doctor wouldn't tell me I can't buy them at this place. Guess what: I needed to order them through a pharmacy. I could have easily ordered them this way *clap clap clap* Yeeees. Really nice advice.

Absolutely. He could have made a big impact on his future. But showered titties and cake were stronger.

What drives me latelly is his way of talking to people. The truth content of most of his statements are very debatable. But as a human being, it's his right to be wrong, I guess. It's also his right to correct people, even when he is wrong. But at fucking least, can it be with less insults? This smug drives so many people away with his 24/7 disrespectful talk.
Let's just say someone asks: "How much taxes do you need to pay?". Which is a good question.

Phil would say: "Okay, some idiots in the chat ask AGAIN how much taxes I have to pay. If you don't know because I think you are just a stupid child, this is non of your business. Gagaga. How many times do I need to repeat that for your thick heads?! Apparently you have no idea how taxes work, they don't just come to you and say you how much you own. You are a moronic idiot if you think that! And also [etc etc etc]."

He could say the very same with: "Oh I don't know yet. I get this asked a lot and I'm sorry I have no answer but I'm on it to solve this question like Professor Layton. But as soon as I know it I let you all know it and we can create a nice payment plan. Sounds good?"

Oh jeez, that was so difficult.
