Watching rampaging autists fight is pure hilarity. It doesn’t serve any other purpose beyond making everyone involved look bad. There are no crimes. Not even much unethical behavior. Poor management. Gee who would have imaged a bunch of YouTube focused hipsters would be poorly managed? The only one who is really going to get burned here is Pregler. In every way possible she radiates “toxic employee! Do not let in door!”

They're well into their 30's and do angry reviews for a living. While there were obviously success stories out there, let's not pretend like most of these guys had serious shots at prolonged and expanded success doing this shit before airing dirty laundry.

These guys had autistic lightening in a bottle, not marketable abilities.

Wait wait wait, Michaud wasn't just a retail guy, he was also fired for "making too much money."

Firstly, that doesn't make any sense; Michaud would have to be fucking up something fierce if he got fired from a retail job of all things. Secondly, considering he got fired from a retail job, then that should have been a big red flag right from the start that maybe, just maybe, this dude wasn't qualified to run a whole new business.

If there hadn't been a million screeching autists more worthy of attention affiliated with CA that overshadow Pregler, I think she would have made for a good cow. She enjoys starting drama under the pretext that's she some heroic figure engaging in a moral crusade against terrible people who deserve punishment. There's something nigh-Shakespearean in her committal to her grudge and how her attempts to get petty revenge on the people who wronged her in the past always come back to inevitably bite her in the ass.

To be perhaps overly frank, the majority of the complaints in the Channel Awesome document aren't particularly out of the norm from where I'm standing. Anyone who's done blue collar work that's had a significant amount of work experience in a factory or any other high-turnover job probably has way worse stories to tell about abusive management, shady practices, and generally shitty treatment, but the thing that makes CA drama interesting is because there's e-celebs involved—plus how stupid and avoidable a lot of these problems were. Working on Channel Awesome is the professional equivalent of being a door-to-door salesman who gets paid on commission; the only difference is that you're instead of getting customers to buy something, you're getting them to click your video. If you're surprised you're getting fucked over with those arrangements, I don't know what to tell you.

earlier in the thread lupa has a tweet like "the walkers are complicit" over and over like they knew michaud had an underground rape racket and didnt do anything. bitch he made you cry once in an argument and doug didn't immediately fall over himself to say he was wrong. you're not a teacher campaigning for new books or something.

all these complaints are essentially "somebody (usually mike) was autistic and dumb and hurt my feels". at least until we get the hard facts on the pedo producer thing.
