I can't believe I read that whole thing and honestly I'm underwhelmed, they way people were sounding off on twitter you would think this was a Harvey Weinstein sized scandal , but all the serous allegations are vague and self serving. Mostly what I take away from this is that Mike Michaud is as incompetent as a manager, and that ties in with the people he hired for the site. The price of good management is higher standards. If Channel Awesome were being run in a professional way most of the 'talent' wold never have gotten through the door in the first place; can you imagine Viacom or Disney putting up with Allison, Lindsey or Jo's drama? Missing performance goals or starting drama with other employees will get you fired from most jobs, it's not a crime against humanity, it's business. The way the #metoo squad is speaking out only when it's beneficial to themselves is more proof that the dysfunction goes much deeper then just the management. Mike's dream of running a multimedia empire is as dead as Doug's dream of being a respected film maker. A dream died that was never meant to be. Going forward it's going to be the Brad and Doug show. The only thing that will truly kill them is YouTube cracking down on their use of film clips. When that happens they are screwed.

Does anyone really think this'll do anything in the long run? It seems like the site was always 'The Doug Walker Show' anyway, and despite 100,000 vlogs of fat asspies all blurting the same spiel over and over again the Woody Woodpecker video is still over half a million hits in a couple of days (and this was a re-up someone said?) with a barely noticeable lack of thumbs down.

My money is on him still pumping out videos to roughly the same numbers 6 weeks from now like nothing ever happened. "Channel Awesome" as a collective is dead but I don't see the Walkers seeing any real downside from this except the bruised ego of the CA brand going from an umbrella to just them, Tamara, and a handful of other idiots. I'd be really surprised to see anything of consequence come from this.

Maybe it will. Maybe it won't. Either way...

If Brad decides to stick around, then CA moving to youtube would force him to cut out a decent chunk of his content. Namely, his reviews of weird porn. Sure, he has his own site he can post on, but there's a chance that they will get less views. Let's face it, having all of his videos on one channel/site is a lot more convenient. And I SERIOUSLY doubt he plans on jumping ship anytime soon, which means he'll still have to create something for the CA channel.

They can't afford to lose him. There are people who only come to the site to see Brad's videos and Mike/Doug/Rob are very much aware of this. I think that's why they've let him get away with shit that other producers couldn't.

Surprisingly not. You'd think Iron Liz would be the first person to talk about this, especially as vocal as she's been in the past. Considering how Mike's been pretty much outed as a genuine misogynist who doesn't have the balls to raise his timbre at males, I want to know whether or not he would do the same to a trans woman.

As an aside, it feels weird for the term "misogynist" to be uttered with actual meaning nowadays.

Also, out of curiosity I checked CA's dropdown:

• Screen Crashers: No uploads since December.
• Shaun K: No uploads since February.
• Gaming Wildlife: No uploads since January.

So in total they have 13 active producers left including Doug.

E: Also, Brandon Tenold's most recent video on the site is from March 19 despite his last review being 4 days ago. He has not left.
