DSP's Loan & Savings Company

Bruh, he paid multiple thousands of dollars just for the 2017 state business taxes? The highest rate is 1.5%...how much fucking income did he have? If he made an even $100k, he would owe only $1500 in business tax. What the actual fuck?
I can explain this. Phil looks at the world with Donald Trump eyes, where you sort of lose track of exact numbers and only notice size. If something FEELS small it might as well be nothing, but if FEELS big there might as well be a million of it.

This video is the best example. Timestamp 19:35 - 20:23
According to Machinima... I made thousands of dollars less than last month. THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS less. I mean, it looks like more than a THIRD. More than 33%!

REALLY??? So, let's deobscure that. $2000 counts as "thousands," right? $2000 x 3 = $6000 in a month.
$6000 x 12 = $72000/year just from YouTube. Paid to DSPGaming in 2016. HIGHLY unlikely.

To recap:
  • 13 = dozens
  • 2 = "abunchofpeepul"
  • $700 = "I was making hardly any money on Twitch at first"
  • $200 = "My vlogs channel makes me literally no money!"
  • Probably $600 = THOUSANDS OF DHOLLURS

Something slightly unrelated. Old prestream from late February. 2:50 - 3:29 Phil is determined to raise his back tax money "by hook or by crook." His phrasing, not mine.

I'm so fucking sick of hearing Phil piss and moan about his taxes. I would never give the fucker a donation, but today I'm making it my personal mission to find a book about basic financial planning to mail to his house.

It's not fucking complicated, Phil. Don't spend all of what you earn. Take a small cut of everything you earn each month and put it into tax savings. By the time a payment is due, you'll have money set aside for it and you won't have to beg nonstop for months on end for strangers to bail you out.

If you're not earning enough to be able to put anything aside for tax savings, then you have too many expenses and need to pare down. Holy shit. It infuriates me to no end that not only is he this stupid and begging children to pay his bills for him, but that there's a chance those children will grow up under the impression that taxes are a never ending and unbeatable moneysink. Taxes are a manageable reality of life in America and if you can't handle it then you deserve zero sympathy.

Even his own chat is turning on him. If he keep this "I need money for my taxes" crap Phil will only have the dick riding mods.

Grabbed this from Drgnkiller’s Twitter.

Classic deflection tactic. Deny and insult.

@BSV As a guy who was there for part of it and was a part of his community for awhile, what do you think the general reaction of his fanbase will be upon hearing from Phil, 'All that money you guys gave me over the last 3 months was $8,500 too little, so thanks but I'd be a lot more positive if I could get $4,000 in the next 9 days to pay my Federal Tax liability on all the money you gave me in the last three months and another $4,500 to pay my B&O backtaxes by the end of April :stress:"?

Ohhhhhh so that thing on twitter was actually someone elses. I am so fucking confused at this point because the constant shit spewed it makes the point of origin to track retarded because how many times he slips up and adds new evidence to him possibly deceiving even simple who usages.

I had a dream last night.

Phil was an actual clown that owned and ran his own circus.

The main attraction was a ferris wheel called, "The Scam-Go-Round".

Phil was snorting into a mega phone,

"COME SOME, COME GENEROUS!! See the amazing 'fun-raising' wheel!! Powered by your pity, experience first hand how nothing is ever enough and no matter how long you ride you miraculously end up right at the beginning!! It's the ride that keeps on going...forever...forever....forever..."

I wish I was making this up...

Thought I would share, given very recent events.

I've always thought of Phil as a cockroach or a twinkie and has this amazing ability to survive no matter what. Somehow, he'll scrape the tax money.

Thing is though, I reckon he'll scrape it but it won't be enough so he'll have to sell the house in CT.

(I'm not as genned up in that place's laws but can he not rent it out?)

He will get through this and then will end up doing something next month that will undoubtedly be even more outrageous.

people are questioning the tax form that just released and why the last name is misspell. Phil sucks at spelling. her is a example:

Phil just showed the binder of his taxes on stream. Why is it that everyday he looks worse and worse?

"We're just going keep going, business as usual, there's no reason for me to keep harping on this anymore. Tax season is over."
End of the year is when we're going to bring this back up (Christmas begathon part 2?), he doesn't want people bringing it up anymore.

This is... a little bizarre, given the financial situation he is describing. He also just seems nonchalant about the whole thing.
So basically, he IS pulling the plug on the tax thing, and gunning for a massive wave of donations at Christmas again. I guess he figures that's the only time he can actually blitz for donations?

None of this is adding up. I'm starting to wonder if he is already planning on selling the house, and now he's just going to wring as much money out of this as he can.

Quite honestly he better be planning to sell the house now. It seems like DSP has now hit the point where he can no longer continue to limp along. Previously he has said he pays his tax payments with credit and must be all out of that. He is no longer treading water, he is sinking. He has the ability to not completely fix everything right away but at the very least drastically improve things quickly. He should be talking to his banks and realtors about how he can sell the WA house and then the CT using the 80k from the WA house to payoff the part he is underwater on the loan. There would be a glorious rant somewhere in here about capital gains tax on the home sale and how unfair that is, this might be countered by the loss on the CT house, not sure how that works, probably needs to happen in the same tax year though too.

This would get him out of the CT house and free up something in the area of 1000 per month in cash flow that he is throwing at that thing every month. Sounds like he would have a bit left over to put towards the tax debt or other general debts. At that point he could do whatever the hell he wants, live where ever he wants. He would probably be smart to find a cheaper city to live in, rent a 2 bedroom apartment at likely less than he is paying per month for the WA house. Get things in order over the course of a year maybe and be in much better shape than he is now. He doesn't even have to change jobs, he can continue to stream games everyday. DSP doesn't have an income problem he has a spending problem.

This or something close to this is what he should be researching right now, do I think he is doing any of this, no.
