I thought they were going to wisely ignore it. Responding is really only worth it if you can decisively smack down the other side.

I'm down for another lolsuit after the Maddox/Dick one wraps up.I don't know if it's already been discussed, but in checking Twitter I found this recording of Doug being asked about the debacle at Empire State Comic-Con, to which he says he "can't talk about it right now... just right now."
Rumour mill is that his reply and now the first sentence in the written response ("we have been exploring all of our options of how to address the lies") imply they've hired a lawyer to take legal action against the ex-producers and have been instructed to not talk about it.
That'd be a fucking shitshow, and one I'd love to see. The ex-producers could no doubt crowdfund their legal expenses.
Per Malcolm Ray's Twitter account, a video is forthcoming.
They'll probably have Malcolm, Tamara and maybe even Brad put out videos in their defence since they're the most blameless.

They tried not responding, and they lost one of their sponsors. In this situation you'd have to be a colossal fuckup to make it worse with a response. And surely Michaud couldn't possibly be a colossal fuckup, that'd be impossible.I thought they were going to wisely ignore it. I think Brad wants to stay neutral until his hand is forced. How Michaud and the Walkers would force him would be interesting.
Me, waiting for this killing blow of a video:Per Malcolm Ray's Twitter account, a video is forthcoming.
Brad is not neutral. He's faithfully been on the Walkers' side and just hasn't released any formal public response - only responded to questions. He will not leave and given that he has the best reputation (and second-largest platform after Doug), I can see them asking.
I think the only reason he wouldn't is that he'd be reluctant to pollute his content spaces with drama.
Unless I missed it, he hasn't said anything, so I see that as being neutral. Not making a statement doesn't mean you're automatically on one side.
Not unless he did a video recently with Doug and they both hi-fived and slapped their dicks together. Then okay. That could be considered him siding with Channel Awesome.
You haven't been paying attention. One example. He's loyal to the Walkers for personal reasons (namely being on his side in past dramas) and been concrete about sticking by them.
So, Angry Joe just officially left Channel Awesome too now.
