If only there was proof, not just anonymous words on the internet.

Chat logs, at least, that prove she tried to reach out to CA. Anything.

I hate to be this dismissive of anonymous accusations, but I've become jaded to this type of thing.

Oh yeah, I agree. I'm just posting what I'm finding on this and these could be serious trolls who want to create chaos in the YouTube community.

Just putting all of this out there so people can archive in case some hard evidence comes forward.

Have to agree in not trusting this on instinct, but I do think if this was true, the person would want to keep their identity under wraps as much as possible, especially given how easily it was deduced Justin was the producer responsible when all of this came out.

Granted, that was more due to CA's own incompetence, but I'd be airing on caution if I was her right now.

There's no denying the fact that Jewwarrio did like to flirt with fans at Cons, with a few of his flirtations going into inappropriate territory. Even after he got into a relationship he would still do it with fans. I know there's one instance of him telling a fan If she (His girlfriend) doesn't know, it won't hurt

Oh, I fully understand why you did it. Great job for doing so!

I fully agree with you, that staying anonymous is the smart thing to do in this situation, given how rabid and autistic the CA fan-base is.

But that's what is so frustrating about that post. It could be possible. It could be true. But on the other hand, it's also a very convenient time for "detractors" to come about and spread misinformation. Because after CA's fuck-up, it's quite easy to make shit up now and make it sound plausible.

Honestly, while I wouldn't be surprised about JW doing that kind of stuff, fact is that pedophile accusations are flung around on a daily basis on the internet (Keemstar is the most popular example of this behavior). It's gotten to the point that anyone with a brain doesn't take those accusations seriously until proof is shown.

Hell, you can't even take the proof seriously sometimes. There is an MMO called Final Fantasy 14. Well, it's known by the other MMO communities (And a lot of non mmo communities) as the most drama ridden shithole in MMO history (It's worse than GW2 or WoW, trust me). Part of the problem is that there is a command in the game that allows you to fake chat logs in under 5 minutes, easily. It's called the Echo command. It's not an obscure command either, so it's pretty well known to be abused.

Sorry for the tangent, I just thought I would give an example.

Now, given the amount of speds at CA, I wouldn't be surprised at all if JW did it; but until some definitive proof is shown? I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

I just had a thought: His poor fucking widow.

Had someone she loves cheat on her -- I will give her the benefit of doubt of not knowing what a potential piece of shit he was -- then had to witness his suicide. Now after a few years, she finds out what an (alleged) scumbag her husband really was.

Poor lady.

Maybe we need to define groomer going forward because the girl in question was legal age and saying she was mentally 16 means absolutely nothing legally or morally. Also, every single one of these people are "mentally 16". For all we know Jane Doe was always impressionable, for crushing on Jewario, For letting a pamphlet she just finds convince her Jewario was some kind of pedo even though she was a legal adult, and for getting involved in change the channel once the whole things already burning. She may have been reached out to and coached to help ad juicy tidbits to the document but it's still a bunch of hearsay.

Between that and some producers personal crusades of culling suspected misogynists from the Channel, it's hard for me to put much stock in the language used here considering Channel Awesome's willingness to throw people under the bus for moral aggrandizement.

SOOO to be more frank, this sounds like it was a lot of nobodies business since it's not criminal, but certain parties at CA obviously couldn't help themselves but to get involved. My guess is people who grieved did so because they didn't agree with jewario's removal in the first place or were exploiting it for views.

It was the CA managements business as fucking around with the fans, especially fans of borderline ages, at cons and similar is the sort of thing that would reflect negatively on everyone. This would be viewed as inappropriate workplace behavior, and "please take your videos elsewhere". But it's not illegal or anything civilly actionable. It's not something Management would discuss with anybody. Remarkably the one point of professionalism Michaud has shown over all of these years is this not getting out. I mean imagine the explosion years ago if "Jewario" and "Naked Teenaged Fangirl" had been put together publicly? Also lets not forget that the bulk of their business either flowed through or was about to flow through the House of Mouse back then. This wans't that far removed from when Disney started to acquire Blip.
