Nothing, I repeat NOTHING arouses my contempt more than these kinds of hypocrites. They spend years preaching their virtue and fanatically attacking anyone they deem to be problematic/toxic/whatever solely because they disagreed with them or were somebody/part of a group that was trendy to hate in their clique, and yet when push comes to shove they will happily enable or even engage in all the disgusting shit they accuse their enemies of, and when exposed they do nothing but claim its the fault of the eeeevil outgroup and that they themselves are pure.
TL;DR: "It's okay when we do it!"
This is precisely why it made me so angry. These people were going on a moral crusade against gamergate, starting shit over political views and in general, preaching social justice when they've been shielding a rapist for years and essentially doing what the #MeToo movement has been fighting against. Whether or not you support social justice or metoo is a personal opinion but their hypocrisy is just infuriating either way, especially after reading what the reddit victim said. That jane doe person was just harassed with texts as far as I'm concerned (and her "i'm mentally 16" thing reeked of bullshit) but the girl on reddit was drugged and raped and these little troglodytes hid it for years.
Same reason as to why Andrew Dobson's acting much more rational during this situation- He ain't Mike Michaud.

So by show of e-hands, who actually watched You Can Play This! back when it was still up and running? I personally didn't, but I'm honestly curious to hear from any of you who considered (or even still consider) yourselves fans of his.
I'd imagine it's like the Bill Cosby or the Jared from Subway situation, only on a smaller scale and even more autistic. Regardless, it must really, really suck to try to go back to something you loved while trying to ignore the tainted image in your heads that's bad to think about but deep down you know will never leave.

It's like Michaud is becoming a capacitor for exceptionalism. All that craziness is getting sucked to him and hence, Dobson and Bob are starting to make actual sense for once.
It's possible that he'd have some sort of non compete clause in his contract that would bar him from doing videos for some predetermined amount of time. He'd also probably have to ditch the hat, the tie, and the glasses. Look for the Reminiscing Reviewer in 2019.
