Saw this on Drgnkillers Twitter and I don't know whe this was said so I may be late. Did Phil really say nobody likes to see him play challenging games they like to watch him go back to games that kicked his butt and "conquer" them. Guessing this was just some rational to keep his mind in a delusional state but maybe he really believes this.
He will never openly accept the only reason he is still making a living is because the majority of his 10 year legacy he was a caveman buffoon people liked to laugh at. The extra Bloodborne attendance are the detractors who can still stomach watching his stale content, which is a number dwindling about as fast as his fanbase.

If this means DSP will be monetizing TIHYDPs and any and all videos talking about him, like Tevin's, Soma Julius Cruz, Snort Burnell, list goes on.
It means le based king of hate wins again, bow down, filthy detractors, no amount of le exposing is going to work anymore. He will make money off you criticizing him now and possibly retire to Hawaii by the end of the month
As far as I know Phil can already Content ID claim a lot of those videos, specifically ones that consist almost entirely of reuploads of his videos like TIHYDPs, and once he does that it doesn't matter if you had the video monetized or not because the claim puts monetization into the claimants hands. They can chose to block your video, mute your video, or leave it up and run ads on your video that they receive all money from. I think once your video is claimed you can't even delete it, as long as it's claimed the claimant holds ownership. The only recourse you have if your video gets claimed and monetized is you can set the video to Private so that it won't generate any views or ad revenue.
This is why the SOK's whole 'we don't want Phil to be able to make money off it' was so exceptional to me. It doesn't matter if they aren't monetized, if Phil claims it that's up to him. If it's a moral standpoint for you that you don't want to make any money off Phil's sloppy ass or you think it would ruin the aesthetic of your video for an ad to appear, that's fine, don't do it. My perspective has always been if you put time into editing, adding effects, adding clips to add comedy or comentary, etc and you are entertaining or informing people I don't give a single fuck if you want to run an ad and be compensated for your time and effort; unless your someone like Vault Boy who literally just reuploads with fuck all added, then I. . .hmm, still wouldn't watch lol
The new feature sounds more like it will address abuses of this, like when Onision claims a 16 minute video because it contains 1 minute of his content and puts 4 ads on it now he can only claim 6.25% of a video. I haven't even looked at if this type on claim would allow the claimant to decide to monetize a video the channel owner hasn't monetized. Edit: From the vague information I could find it's still unclear.
Phil already doesn't claim videos because he is too lazy, he's verbally said people are allowed to as long as it's not just mirroring his videos, and he doesn't want to have to deal with disputing all the claims and people can be huge dicks to him by appealing his rejected dispute at which point he has to issue a copyright takedown that you can submit a counter notification to then he has to sue you and he doesn't have money for that; all to waste his time before privating it and he won't make a single cent. He makes more money from the interest driven toward his name than he ever would trying to do that, and he wouldn't get all those troll tips from people with TIHYDPs fuelling their tard rage.
After seeing Phil go on a spree Tweeting freak-out over having to edit a video a tiny bit and just end up mangling the fuck out of it for no money I think it's highly unlikely Phil will be using this new feature whatsoever. In Ninja's case people are reuploading parts of his streams w/o permission and getting a million views. In Phil's case he has given everyone permission to do anything to his content and they get 1K to 20K views. Also NoahJ456, the guy who made the Tweet, is a spurg and it's not even clear whether Ninja would have to start uploading his entire streams to YouTube or not to use this feature. NoahJ456 is a YouTube streamer who publishes his entire streams on YouTube already.

He has been recently explaining, literally, clearly, that he will only make videos/do streams for cash. Everything else is fanservice that should be received with the eager gratefulness of a wolfpup, when mama vomits up half digested bunny rabbit for them, or little ugly naked birds yearning for a hacked up worm.
So I have decided that actually cooking dinner is fanservice and my husband should be motherfucking grateful. Taking a bath is above and beyond so people on the tube should be seriously impressed I showered, AND EVEN WORE DEODORANT! My friends need to understand that I need money to pay my bills, and replying to their messages and phone calls is just something kind I do when I can to show a certain nobless oblige. My local supermarket has better step up and give me my soy milk and tofu for free, because just being seen in their shitty store will raise their profile, so really, they ought to pay me.
In fact, ya'll motherfuckers reading this: FANSERVICE. Suckle my benevolent word-teats, bitches.
But guys, I will keep a backup of the detailed info I record of every poop I take, for posterity, and to show that I know I have a hard core group of fans who will consume any content I create. I will never forget you peons over on Youtube who give me a trickle of free views.

Phil shouldn't put words like that in people's mouths. When Phil said he and Tolo both thought MHW was bad and was a disappointment it just made me think that both of them were full of shit. As a Monster Hunter fan for years since psp days I know for a fact MHW is a vast improvement over the previous games. He made Tolo look bad saying some dumb shit like that. He really needs to just stfu about MHW. He has no room to speak on the quality of a game he only played a demo of.

You might have to have a sign up process that isn't automated. I hope so anyway.
