Not the worse. TBH the shading is pretty decent. It's clear they know how shading works minus Scooby who just looks fucking lazily drawn and shaded in. They chose nice colors for the dark-skinned character (even though Velma's not black). It looks generally okay.

My issues are that the artist needs to take off that ugly overlay layer. It just adds a layer of unnecessary muddiness to the picture. (Seriously, every Tumblr artist uses an ugly overlay layer. Why can't they stop?) The artist also needs to learn more about expressions because holy shit everyone is so cross-eyed. It doesn't look good. It looks very weird an unnerving.

Lastly, the red nose thing is starting to really get on my nerves. Unless you have some sort of issue going on with your body, you do not have THAT red of a nose. Even people I know with really pink skin in real life do not have noses that red. Does anyone know why so many people justify this in their work?

There's some explanation floating around about blood flow causing certain parts of the body to take a redder tint but it's not something a cartoony style needs and they wouldn't be that bright unless something is physically wrong with them.

Wait. I think I saw the comic to the first image in my Twitter feed. It was only yesterday and I'll try to find it but essentially if I'm not wrong, the artist was at a panel and she created this straight guy as a strawman against LGBT rights when literally he asked if a straight guy should read her book. She basically told him "I'm not writing for you"! And told him to fuck off. I'll try to find it if I can.

But yeah, the artist's response was so pretentious.
