Matt Perez / Michelle Perez / Angel Perez / Rubblewoman / thatwronglove - Violent Harasser Angry at TERFs, Furries, Trans Pornstars, Kiwi Farms, etc; Banned from Twitter x2

The SJW defence squad are doing damage control as usual, their janny pals will be selectively pruning the thread soon no doubt.

Also that one poster with the hard-on for DnC who keeps trying to unsubtly label him as a carpetbagger, turns up in any thread tangentially related to him and posts this, it keeps failing to catch on, I don't know why they thinks it's clever.

Perez is by far the most convoluted individual I've followed on this site, especially with the release of the comic and various interviews coming out (which I duly thank them for giving her a platform.)

Everyone is fucking gushing about the comic as this golden example of trans sex work. How this story needs to be told. But when you take Perez's exceptional Twitter behavior and her goddamn photos...all I get is a hilariously tragic study of Perez herself, a deeply disturbed and violent person. Having slogged through the comic cements that fact more.

The Newsrama Interview

The interivew is fucking hilarious. It reveals that not only Remy (the artist) hates the title, but the overall project caused whatever crazy relationship she had with Perez to end. Both of them can't seem to get it straight. Out of Perez's mouth this is some kind of 100% autobiography, and Remy say's 75% with mixed in shit. I will say this, I truly believe the parts depicting Perez's anger issues and hyper sexual dysfunction to be accurate. The rest of it? Vignettes that go no where, and masturbatory power trips of pure fiction. I love the fact that the pervert is in fact "Tom" of the story. The old man. WTF.

I will be.....generous and say Remy is a rather talented niche artist. But they need to get away from Perez and find someone that can actually write a goddamn story. To be even further generous and take this is a true and honest story, Perez is still a fucking asshole.

Is he trying to say that Tom is a bad guy for fucking his stupid self-insert, and others like him? I thought all trannies wanted was for cis people to find them desirable. And what on earth about Tom's previous relationship makes him a John? There was never a mention of anyone being pimped out, as far as I remember.

God, what a pretentious sack of shit.

My favorite one of these idiotic strips (aside from my parody one) is the one with the mechanic, where our troon warrior decides that the proper response to a relatively meager insult is a jaw-dropping outburst of psychopathic violent behavior in which the troon is unquestionably the aggressor; violently breaking his nose before beating him with a wrench, clearly with intent to murder him. How stereotypically male.

Oh my god this is awful. This needed to be a multi-issue free zine that got left at food coops, anarchist bookstores and library bathrooms. The only way this shitty comic can be defended is through the extremities of identity politics. And that's a slender defense pool anyway because his target audience is made up of people like Fire, Phil and Eden, sexual and cultural losers who cannot afford to pay $17.99 for a book.

And a blurb from Zoe Quinn is the last thing anyone, regardless of political, social or sexual affiliation, should want on their book. I don't really give a shit about Gamer Gate and the ethics of either side of the argument yet even I think Quinn is a duplicitous, lying, worthless skank who lacks the intellect to comment on what she reads. I don't even think she could read and then summarize instructions on a PopTart box without needing to crowdsourcing her answer.

Jesus, this is just so awful, ill-conceived and disjointed. And fuck him for involving characters from works for children. What was gained in the narrative for him to beat up Charlie Brown, one of the most alt-lifestyle accepting comic characters? Peppermint Patty and Marcie, to use the jargon these chucklefucks like so much, are coded as a trans-man and his somewhat masculine girlfriend. Fuck, Marcie even called Peppermint Patty "sir." Leave the works of children alone. It is not revolutionary to do this sort of thing and it is widely reviled because it makes it clear the authors who do it have, to put it politely, deep psychosexual problems and boundary issues.

I was expecting a "omg so smart" answer like "The pervert is the viewer because [insert intellectual masturbation]" but after forcing myself to read this bland excuse of furry porn I can safely say that Perez cannot write a story for his life if this was truly the intent he wanted to give. I actually want to give a full and extensive review in order to save a few people to get a headache from reading this, because from a writing perspective this is perhaps worse than some stuff I've read on fanfiction.net. Perhaps later. This comic legitimately gave me a headache.

LOL at Matt thinking he got a single buck from any of us.

And yes, pirating your crap is saving comics in two ways:
1. People who actually appreciate and buy comics will be forewarned to avoid your garbage
2. No sales of the book means no more job offers from publishers

There are several comics out there about trans and gay people that are so much better, like "Stuck Rubber Baby", "7 Miles a Second", "Fun Home", and Rachel Pollack's (a trans woman, BTW) run on "Doom Patrol".

I'm not part of the "poorly adjusted straight dude who only buys superhero comics" audience, and lol no it still sucks. I like character studies of people in unusual circumstances, so the concept is no issue. The problem is that the character we're focusing on is a massive self-centered douche, treats the few sympathetic characters like shit, and has no character development beyond coming out as transgender.

You can honestly tell that the artist and the storyteller don't like each other because the art is such shit. There is no meshing between the story and the art, if anything g they are comp.etely disjointed, and would be better viewed if seperate.

Remy has no love for the story, and the art screams it. Comic artists can make you live their stories, if they believe in the story they are telling. Remy doesn't believe in it, hence you don't live the story.

Just from the glimpses of the comic I've seen, Perez thought this was a good idea? No one wants to pay 18 bucks for this schlock. Even more damning is having Zoe Quinn's comment on the back.

There is a discussion of this on D&C's Facebook fan group. Somebody posted this:

However, the consensus in the discussion seems to be having a girldick will render you immune to copyright prosecution. Dunno. I'd post the discussion but I have no clue how archive shit from Zuckerbook. Or even get images off beyond screenshots. And I'm way too lazy to do that.

Yeah. I can’t believe how expensive it is for the god awful story and art. If this was an indie zine or some kind of alt publisher, I could excuse the art. But it’s flat, dull, lifeless and the perspective is off.
The prices per page is also insane. Blankets is an autobiographical comic that completely dwarfs The Pervert in pages, story and art and is only $20.
