TGWTG "Nostalgia Critic" / Doug Walker, Rob Walker, Mike Michaud, Mike Ellis, Holly Christine Brown, et al - The Incompetent Predator-Protecting Upper Management of Channel Awesome, Doug Still Not That Funny

I can't even imagine Doug as a Hollywood film director/producer. My guess is if he ever received a legitimate chance at being one, his managing of the production would go so bad that the film would either be cancelled, or he would be kicked off the project and replaced by someone else. Either way, after his one shot he derails any chance he has of turning it into a legitimate career and is quickly blacklisted from the industry.

I can't even envision Doug making it in the indie scene or even as a SyFy-type filmmaker. He lacks any kind of genuine talent as a filmmaker, writer and producer. The best he could ever be is a YouTube entertainer, and even that field has surpassed his level of quality, entertainment value and production skill level along time ago.

At best Doug will be remembered as the Mack Sennett of YouTube tards.

So is it a coincidence that Tamara decided to review one of Doug's favorite Cartoon movies, (TMNT) Without Doug? That just seems suspect to me

I mean Doug already "reviewed" TMNT 3 and he doesn't like it. It's not really suspicious cause the movies Tamara seems to cover are stuff Doug has "reviewed"

I know theres been a lot of talk about the issues with Kickassia, Suburban Knightes, and ESPECIALLY To Boldly Flee, but there was a neglected anniversary special called "The Uncanny Valley" (@Uncanny Valley) that was basically a sketch show. But is there any large incompetence behind this one?

I didn't even know it existed until it popped up when I was binging Mike Jeavons vids again
Since everyone that did participate did it at their own comfort of home, no one had any real complaints other than not really wanting to participate. Most of the participants were second choices, because the main ones just weren't up to it (likely due to their To Boldly Flee experiences).

On a personal note, I always thought Mike J's short was the best of the bunch.

So, you think this whole saga is finally over, or will more come out eventually? Bet Doug probably is trying to leave

The drama itself is finally dying down (at least for the moment), but the saga will likely never end. The damage has been permanently done, and Channel Awesome and it's head honchos will forever be major laughingstocks of the internet.

I suspect there won't be any more major updates until the Michauds and Walkers finish wrestling over the company's assets, which will take a while since they're stubborn and stupid.

As much as they're in denial and desperate to make this work, the writing's on the wall and I find it hard to believe they haven't started planning for the company's liquidation.

The question for me is how urgently their lack of revenue will force them to move. They have six salaries to pay plus overhead and whatever the rest of the Chicago Crew gets paid. That's not cheap, even for a healthy business.

Doug hasn't left after all...

The comments on this video make me sad. "love you guys youre doing great!" "stop bringin up the controversy u guise, its all just petty bullshit" "Surprised to see you guys still here, happily surprised!"

And I thought Mr Enter's fanbase was fanatical to an autistic degree.

A lot of the top comments are demanding they address the controversy.

Thankfully so, but there are at least an equal amount of CA fanboys just praising Doug and Rob or telling other people to stop bringing up controversy when you sort by new.

Some people are even being smug bitches about it, saying "HA! They didn't leave, in your face haters! Sips drink"
