Took him like 15 minutes to beat Ludwig. Even better than my guess of 15 tries.

I mean the game isn't hard if you actually know what you're doing stats wise. It's dumping points in Skill, Bloodtinge, etc. without regards to the weapons you to use. It looks like he hasn't done that on this run.

He also don't talk except if he can observe something.

And of course "I dunno where I have to go, I really don't". Also excuses. And negativity without end. Don't know how someone can watch this garbage sincerely. Tevin said it good, he commentates like blind people watch his gameplay. Thank gout for Tevin's secret stream so nobody has to endure it alone.

And now what is he looking around? Does he try to walk through the walls? Does he need his chat to tell him, he should stay on the path? I don't get it. It feels like he tries to lengthen his playthrough.

I said before he tries to finish the games fast. But when a game makes good money, apparently the exact opposite is right.

Hopped on Tevin's mirror. See Phil about to take on the first giant fuckwhale in the hamlet. Phil gets backed into a corner, but he's so overlevelled he just R1 mashes and kills the thing in seconds. Phil then immediately walks up to a corner, goes "is this another ambush? It is!", and somehow knows exactly where the enemies are coming from. I peaced out at that point. Even Tevin's spicy memeing couldn't make that remotely bearable.

Phil confirmed for reading a guide or practicing in his off time.

Let me paint a picture for you:

Phil just ended stream at the infamous DLC "well" where there are two giant dumb fishmen who flail around and generally beat hunters to a pulp. He knew about the well for roughly an hour, and stream was obsessing about him going in. He entertained the notion AT THE START OF THAT HOUR by going down the well and knowing exactly where to look to see the ambush. No hesitation. Camera flashes up like it's magnetized to the hiding fish man and phil climbs back out, pretending to have used quick wits to see the ambush coming.

He then proceeds to ignore all requests to use the well. An NPC invader attacks him next, and quickly overpowers him. Phil runs away again. Finds the key that leads to the cell the NPC invader lives in, immediately knows where to go to use it, what to do, and that in turn it will stop that NPC from invading ever again. He knows this WITHOUT READING THE DESCRIPTION ON THE KEY.

The moment he kills the NPC he remarks "Well I guess this will stop him from invading me now."

30 minutes remain. Phil stumbles around an old area ignoring every request to enter the well until the last 10. Finally he goes in and promptly gets his butt handed to him several times over. Makes a crack about how he's not interested in "Getting a weapon I won't use for the rest of the game." Yup, Phil's clairvoyance made him know it was a weapon that he just wasn't going to use.

After one more death, he remarks he has to end stream and promptly peaces out.

What if I told you what happened next? I can see the future folks.

Phil boosts stream back up. Goes back down the well. Suddenly, he's anticipating the fish man's moves. Dodging with a practiced hand, no excuses are offered as, after one or two hard-fought losses, he kills the fish men and takes the weapon. "That wasn't so bad" He remarks. Did Phil git gud overnight? It seems so.

This happened with Ludwig today too. And Maria. And the First Vicar as well. How did Phil know?

TLDR:

Phil suddenly got good at an arch nemesis he's been avoiding for two years. Coincidence? I think not.

With the HTML5 player you can no longer block ads, you need to revert back to Flash. To do this click the cog then advance and then turn off HTML5 (not available on all browsers)

Don't know if you caught it, but right when he came from his shitting/guide-reading break, he said something like "I can either go after the optional boss [b/c chat had handheld him for that] or I can go to Mari---the next boss." He knew who it was, so he was trying to pretend he had no idea what was going on. Same with Laurence. He very plainly knew exactly what to do for the 2nd phase. Just as @PomegranateKing pointed out. If he fessed up and admitted to reading a guide ahead of time, it would be shitty but at least then it would be whether or not he could actually DO what was needed. But he's pretending like he's hot shit and talking about how Laurence was "easy" when he just knew ahead of time what to expect.

The one upside is that he didn't get nearly as much money thrown at him as I would have expected for beating Ludwig. Also, bitch boy swagginz said he couldn't afford to drop $150 again this week. Guess his parents cut up his credit card

Some 36 year olds are about to watch their children graduate, a memory they will cherish the rest of their lives...and all Phil has in comparison is beating a video game. Someone in chat asked about if he was gonna take classes to get back into the workforce. He blew up and said the usual “I’m trying to play a game and he’s...!”

And then it hit me. Yeah, he’s playing a game. He’s literally going to be playing video games until he becomes too old or ill to do so. That’s his whole life. Not a life of hard labor where it’s your only option, not a life where you are dependent on others because of a disease or disability. But a life of doing nothing but playing games, for decades.
What kind of real happiness can you get out of that?

Sadly what DSPs mods are doing are not against Twitch TOS. They say you can ban anyone for any reason, even no reason at all.

The reward to hit the goal is a "Street fighter Master(bate) Run Challenge", where he plays all the street fighter games in one go from the anniversary edition on the hardest difficulty against AI only.

He did hint to the chat that there were more than 30 gifted subs in Mid April so he's hoping someone to gift more this month, then he stated he couldnt find his phone so he basically left the stream for 5 minutes to go downstairs to get his phone.........

I did this for the shits and giggles. I was floored by how much he sounds like Cartman from South Park. He uses the same accent, speech patterns, pronunciations, and inflections. He even uses similar phrases. He his a 36 year old Cartman.
