I don't know what's more sad here; a veteran streamer who's been gaming for at least over a decade trying to hide the fact that they're using a guide to beat the Bloodborne DLC, or the exceptional fans that actually believe him. I wouldn't even be so annoyed if he was just honest about it since Bloodborne is a tough game, and more efficient progress means more entertainment for the stream. My problem is that Phil hides it as effectively as a 6 year old that made a mess on the white carpet. Even then the hypothetical kid here has one up on Phil since they're only 6 and still have their whole life ahead of them to learn that even small lies cause more trouble than their worth, but Phil is 36 now. Absolutely pathetic.
it's amazing how fragile and large phil's ego is
anyone else would have said "I just want to get through the game, i must finish it at all costs"
but not phil
phil has to show the world his amazing game skills where he just randomly knows where everything is and what they do
pay no attention to the paypigs behind the curtains
and he applies that to everything, he doesn't by cans and boxes of stuff and makes meals from it, oh no, ITS ALL FROM SCRATCH... CUSTOM FROSTING. MADE JUST FOR ME.
he doesn't buy hamburgers, he eats out at GOURMET RESTAURANTS!
he likes to say he's an average guy sometimes to be relatable, that's bullshit in his eyes
to him, he's a god, and he deserves everything. that's why he comes up with excuses when he does badly, it can't be his fault.
he expects his friends to help his image and do everything for him for free, he's more important
he expects his girlfriend to put up with his shit even when she's having a breakdown, she should be grateful she shares a house with the goutlord.
phil will never connect or understand other people
he'll forever be alone every night drinking on his couch wondering why they don't erect statues of him, wondering why he feels so shitty and empty
