I'm glad he didn't. Phil would've had time off to fix the buttons somewhat properly.
Then we wouldn't have:
- "DO NO POSTLINKS"
- "BE DISCRIMINATORY TO YOUR HEARTS CONTENT, BUT DON'T YOU DARE DISCUSS DETRACTORS AND/OR THEIR CONTENT".

Too bad that making good fanart takes some effort and skill. Most of the time his fans slap his face on existing pieces of art or draw a DSP goatee around a character's mouth and call it fanart. Or just slap "DSP plays" over the title. None of the ankle-biters in his forum can do actual and original artwork so Phil has to put that into the hands of people he barely knows (not that he is interested in them anyways). But thats what you get when you want free artwork for your shitty twitch streams.

The whole fanart troll was brilliant. Too much "trolling" nowadays is artless shit rehashed over and over again all with the trolls being obnoxious attention whores. Laughing at DSP (or any cow for that matter) isn't serious fucking business, and the peepul who try and take moral stances or organize campaigns, generally just end up becoming equally as retarded.

Phil doesn't even provide some mugshots of him specifically made for the fanart creations, people have to cut existing pictures of him from Instagram or elsewhere and see what fits for the "fanart". He is that lazy. Also notice how using copyrighted artwork for his fanart is okay but dare to take a snippet from his videos.

This fan art thing has me thinking about the shitty attitude he has already always had to his fans' art. I'm gonna make this simple: in a situation like this, if someone makes you art, they have made you something valuable. The 'quality' of the art or craftsmanship is a separate issue. If the art isn't amazing, throw it on instagram with a thank you. Phil does not have thousands of images coming his way everyday.

Also, it fucks me right off how he thinks his rights to his work should be respected but when it suits him, fuck copyright! I know he has called that shit his art, but if he felt in the dark recesses of his severely over-taxed heart that he was creating art, he would have a different view and wouldn't try and explain that music licensing is motherfucking theft from his own poor, damp hands or some nonsense.

I am expecting him to say things about this that will make my head explode.

Thats been his whole career in a nutshell. He wants as much money and attention as possible while doing the bare minimum. He hates his fans and doesn't really care what they do as long as they show up and throw money at him.

He simply will not lift a finger to any activity that doesn't have an instantaneous reward. All these things that promote a brand and build loyalty and build up a stable following in the long term, well, I guess they just don't teach that kinda advanced stuff in business school anymore.
