Is Michael Snyder an innocent guy or a JERK

As for him "not being professional", I suggest those that think that try to put themselves in his shoes and remove themselves entirely from the CWC mythos. To him Chris is not some harmless, bumbling, cartoon esque buffoon, but an agressive, repulsive, and hateful prick with a bloated ego and delusions of being above the law, who has been harassing him for half a dozen years, and who has repeatedly acted in ways that can easily be construed as threatening him or his family.

I daresay had this happened to many of us, we would have acted the same, if not more violently and legally mercilessly

I think with me it's just more if I would think of myself a business Representative and refrain from the online comments and the permanency that goes with them. But then that IS just me, Snyder has every moral right to anything he's said and probably more.

Somewhat hypocritically though, I can tell you that if I had been in Snyder's position and believed Chris had just taken a picture of my daughter, I would have vaulted that counter, chased Chris down, forcefully removed the DS from him and smashed it to pieces on the ground. And woe betide Chris if he'd tried to fight back. Unlike Chris, I actually look after myself and definitely have the physical presence to do this.

See, I have a very long temper.. BUT, there's no grey area when I lose it, I go from being calm and composed to furious in an instant.

I think Snyder did what was best for his business, but in a douchy way. The pictures of him standing in front of their car in the parking lot are a big tip off. Got "hit" because he wouldn't move out of the way. Synder basically manufactured the October situation. I can see why Chris thinks Snyder is a liar. Chris should have never put himself in that situation to begin with.

I'm sorry but just because somebody is standing in front of your car it doesn't give you the right to drive into them, this isn't even a matter of opinion.
Snyder stood in front of the vehicle to prevent them from escaping, admittedly not the most intelligent thing to do particularly with Chris/Barb at the wheel.

Chris was banned from TheGamePlace years earlier and has repeatedly been a complete dickhead about the whole affair. Mike was clearly at the end of his tether and frustrated with Chris and his antics. The thing is, Chris saw that the shop was under new management and thought he'd maybe be able to go back in now, and tbh that's not really a bad assumption to make. But after he noticed Mike there he should have just apologized and left.
But no! in true cwc-style he pulls out his fucking nintendo ds and tries to take a picture of mike "for the internet" the EXACT SAME fucking thing that got him into trouble with the police years earlier.

I've often expressed sympathy for Chris' overall situation, particularly his upbringing. But the entire thing with TheGamePlace, even before he was banned, shows Chris at his most selfish, obnoxious, arrogant, egotistical, worst.

I'm not saying it was ok either, just that whole situation with getting "hit" wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for him standing in front of their car in an attempt to keep them from leaving. If you want to create an incident you keep standing there, if you care more about your personal safety you wouldn't try to stand in front of a car to keep it from leaving in the first place. Snyder was trying to keep them there so they would have to answer to the cops. I don't think Chris and Barb are enough of a threat to begin with to warrant that kind of reaction. It's just a fucking comic book / hobby store. No reason to risk your life over an autistic man child who wants to play Pokemon.

It also wouldn't have happened if Chris/Barb didn't drive into him. The driver has 100% of the responsibility in this situation. It would be different of the vehicle was already moving and Snyder threw himself in front of it.

Chris had already created the incident when he ONCE AGAIN trespassed and took a picture of Snyder. Standing in front of a car so they had to answer to the cops isn't the smartest thing to do, yes. But once again it was Chris/Barb who elevated the situation by CHOOSING to drive into him.

It may just be a comicbook/hobby store to us, but to Snyder it's his livelihood. Chris had scared away customers when he was there before and harassed Snyder for years with libelous comments since.

I may seem like I'm taking this a bit too seriously, but to me this is by far the worst chapter in christory. There is no part of this where Chris comes out as ok. It shows him at his nasty, vindictive worst. And that he'd got to the point of being a real danger to people.

I've met the dude. If he's in on some grand conspiracy to fuck with Chris, then he's playing it very smart and close to the vest. In talking to him he seems like anyone else. Just a guy running a hobby shop. We talked for maybe 45 minutes about hobby-related stuff. He's actually a very friendly and funny guy. I didn't ask him about Chris. He's already made his opinion of Chris publicly known anyway. Chris has nothing to do all day but obsess on shit. I think in his mind that's how everyone else is too. Mike Snyder doesn't have to time to devote to ruining Chris. He's got a business to run. (Plus Chris doesn't need any extra help being ruined. he's doing fine with that on his own.)
