If you want to show off your dyed hair, make sure it's not super damaged and frayed at the ends, it'll come out much nicer. Plus you're going to want to have blended it slightly better on the ends, that picture of it hanging loose makes it look terrible. Also, make sure you either keep your hair in braids longer for better waves or make the braids tighter (I recommend using French braids, it looks like you went with simple ones). I'm curious about the color choices == mermaid. Like, yeah I could see that being kinda mermaid-y but it looks more fairy to me.

Also normally people show off different angles of themselves and their hair style/dyed hair. And you need to touch up on your roots.

Alright, so she got the notification that her PIP reconsideration was denied this week. (PIP is a regular lump of money you get if you can show you are sufficiently fisabled that you need extra money for carers, mobility assistance etc. There has been a massive rollback on PIP in recent years and even being permanently wheelchair bound or unable to get in and out of bed and get showered/dressed unassisted can fail to qualify for PIP.)

I've noticed that a lot of people like that blindly support anything that goes against the stereotypical values of 50s America.

Things like being straight, white, Christian, middle class, married with 2.5 kids, no sex till marraige, no illegal drugs, some uncomfortable bigotry, hatred of Communism, fixed gender roles, strong breadwinner husbands, timid and subservient housewives, etc.

Now there was a lot of shit wrong with 50s America, but it gets to the point where they're just being contrarian out of spite, even if it's nonsensical and contradictory. Like the aforementioned combining of Islam and the woman's movement. I guarantee it's less about actually caring about Muslims or even women's issues and more about sticking it to Trump and the cis straight white patriarchy. Like if Trump and the entire Republican party were to become 100% unironically pro-Islam, we'd see people like her and articles from places like The Guardian and Salon complaining about the ingrained misogyny of Islamic society or something.
