Do you think that more diversity and inclusion will be able to exist on the internet without pushback from right-wingers?
There is a vocal segment of the population out there that believes anyone that tools on people acting like faggots on the internet is a "right winger".

These internet faggots are mistaken.

I don't buy the narrative that the alt-right owns YouTube or that this brave troon invented being a lefty vlogger. Casey Neistat and the Vlog Brothers are very left leaning channels with tens of millions of subscribers. Neistat even landed in hot water by telling his young audience point blank that they better go vote for Hillary.

Furthermore, politics on YouTube is not dominated by the alt right. Many of the most prominent guys who whine about "socialjustice warriors and snowflakes and how horrible feminism is" are pointedly against the alt-right. Sargon, Kraut, TJ Kirk and the skeptic community in general are classic examples of what he's talking about, and it's dishonest to call any of them alt-right. And while these right wing channels may have been popular in their own right, they have always been dwarfed by the aforementioned lefty vloggers and clips from lefty talkshows which pull in tens of millions of views and circlejerky comments.

Basically the premise of this article relies on the reader having zero knowledge of Youtube's political landscape so the tranny of the hour's very existence can be heroic and brave.

THIS PROGRESSIVE FOUR YEAR OLD DRAG QUEEN SHOVES A METAPHORICAL NUCLEAR BOMB RIGHT UP THE ALT-RIGHT’S URETHRA

THIS AIDS SURVIVOR HAS ONE THING TO SAY ABOUT THE ALT-RIGHT AND IT SENDS THEM STRAIGHT TO FUCKIN’ HIROSHIMA

THIS TRANS-CLOWN NOT ONLY MAKES PEOPLE LAUGH WITH A LOVING MESSAGE, THEY ALSO GRIND THE TESTICLES OF ALT-RIGHTERS INTO A GARLIC INFUSED PÂTÉ

You know how people sometimes associate decades with one thing that was big in that decade, like how the 80s are associated with cocaine, and the 60s with hippies? Will this decade be defined by transtrenders?
I agree. Probably focused around Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner as the visible one encouraging it, and especially how the transition was tied to their legal defense of vehicular manslaughter of an actual woman.

Does not pass. Horrifying falsetto. Chris does it better.

His schtick is annoying. Every video wastes 1-2 minutes of your time with some dumb unique intro that has nothing to do with the subject at hand. The cutaway skits, color changes and camera changes are too numerous and get on your nerves quickly. Some of the videos have terrible lighting and are way too dark. Multicolored lights shining on someone's face in the dark is downright painful to look at. That coupled with the cutaways and camera angle changes gave me a headache. I started feeling twinges of a migraine forming. Someone should tell Natalie here that her videos are ableist.

Essentially he was a decent looking guy who trooned out and now spergs on Youtube about transphobia and hates on capitalism.

He's pretty masculine looking. There's nothing about him that says he's a woman other than the clothing. He looks like he's in a glam band. But we have to call him "she" and respect him as a true and honest woman otherwise we're transphobic.

Political YouTube is definitely a male- dominated space

But you're a guy. You don't represent women on Youtube at all.

The content isn't really worth watching. He gets on your nerves very quickly and isn't saying anything revolutionary.

I think there’s a reason why I don’t just switch the camera on and speak my mind, and it’s because I don’t feel that I could do that very effectively, but also I think that actually helps me to have a lot of artifice involved in terms of costumes, makeup, lighting, sets. The theatricality of it, in a sense, allows me to continue playing a character. The narrator character is still based on me, but it’s scripted and it’s presented in this very stylized context where I feel that I’m on stronger footing, and that enables me to use more confidence than I might be able to.

In other words his personality is boring so he has to resort to annoying characters and migraine inducing lighting and angle changes to get views.

Unfortunately I think we're heading in that direction. It's different from the glam of the 70s and 80s because the guys in dresses aren't trying to sell their music. They literally think they are women who are more important than real women.

Everybody needs to go out and buy lottery tickets today, Vice actually wrote an article without blaming Gamergate for something.

vice became so fucking poorly done so very quickly. it's only nostalgia for the actual print magazine that keeps me from flat hating them. the lower-case title is just a straw on the camel's back.

Vice operates in this weird middle ground where normalfags like them and link their shit because they do EDGY REPORTING about WEIRD, DANGEROUS, WACKY things (something they actually used to do) and on the other side they have this clickbait left-wing tripe that at the end of the day is just a glorified hyper-snarky hipster version of Huffington Post or Teen Vogue with takes so hot it would scorch the sun.

I can't remember the last time I even saw a headline from them that didn't poison the well in a snide way that instantly alienated any attempt at objectivity (or grammar). The fact that the author of the piece on Nick is obviously fanboying over the drop-out troon's semi-popularity on youtube while attempting to portray other big youtubers as hitler's second coming is embarrassing in its ignorance.
