There are more elements of the "streaming community" that I do not like, noticeably, is that there was no outrage from these people when DSP insulted/physically threatened an 11 year old girl? But talk shit about a bunch of "affiliates" and "partners" on Twitch and all of a sudden they actually care?

My comments were more about the nature of moderation on Twitch itself and how the streaming "community" works with those.

I can see this point, at the end of the day its like reddit karma where you agree with the majority to get upvotes, it hammers whoever was being contraversial down and raises the person in agreement with the majority giving them more exposior and a pat on the back, only now like you said they're also piling up old shit we covered ages ago like the shit with the 11 year old and the wanking because its just more shit to go against him for the current agenda, i wouldnt even say theres any actual outrage here, but its funny to see how many will sperge at someone so small as dsp in comparison to the tens of thousands of followers/viewers they have, because lets face it, dsp is a fly on a windshield to the majority of posters we've seen in response.

We already know twitch ha a no free speech zone, and favoritsm is ripe with different sets of rules for everyone around the twitch-sphere, in or out of it you're not safe if you want to be contraversial.

So I think these tweets prove he's not actually sorry, right? And he's just trying to pacify them by trying to say exactly what they want. Damn Phil what happened to being real and AHNEST and saying stuff to peoples faces and being true to yourself is whats more important? The realest motherfucker on the internet!

But yeah he's not really sorry he's said it or sorry he judged all these people and generalised, he's sorry he might lose money. He doesn't care that streamers hate him now, he cares about that dolla. Thats why he didn't budge on the tweet until ex-Twitch staff started commenting on it. Maybe no longer tweeting is the best option for him seeing as how he just REVEALED ALL THIS ON TWITTER FOR PEOPLE TO SEE.

I could have accepted if he said "Yeah I stand by what I say and NO I'm not apologizing lol" but the back-pedaling is truly pathetic. I know the meme about "the old Phil" has gotten a bit stale but when he got in trouble for the jew jokes on Blip.tv at least he had the balls to say "It was a fucking joke. Get over it." I might not have agreed with the jokes but at that moment I had to give him props for standing by his words.

Pretty much. We've had an insane early year this year too and I feel that when the insanity stopped, there was a lot of people who forgot how fucking boring Phil usually it is, its more we were treated with so much insanity from like December 2017 - February 2017 that March and April seemed really dull in comparison. So there was a lot more weening going on. All you gotta do is wait for Phil to do some shit and shit goes off.

Also I find Phil has a sphere of autism around him, so his weens are also good lolcows. Even if not much is happening on Phil's side, the same boring stream, there's always something happening in the DSPHere with the autism he attracts.
 
I mean all Twitch streamers can fuck off as far as I'm concerned, the idea of unironically watching someone else play a video game is something I can't wrap my head around. However, if I walked into the next office and told my coworkers they were shit at their jobs and that they were pathetic shills not like me who's awesome and cool, I'd fully expect to get some sort of reprimand if not fired.

That's the faggotry of Phil. He wants to be a real adult businessman but when the time comes to act like one, he doesn't. Then when real world consequences happen as a result of his actions he shits himself. I appreciate what @neger psykolog is saying but you can't accuse someone of a crime - even a relatively trivial one like this - on Twitter without a shred of evidence just because you're butthurt, at least not if you want to claim you're a real hahnest businessman with street smarts.

except phil has done those things and gotten away with it because he's small fry
(the difference now is he got the attention of the wrong people, and just like in real life, he got big)
he's insulted pretty much every developer that doesn't make a game that is a "YOU WIN" button
he goes out of his way to insult other people who don't give him money
he goes out of his way to insult people who DO give him money

but nothing, and the few times he got in trouble seemed awfully random to me
it's not a hugbox, it's more like an alien system of morality
and it's horrid, because for the most part, they let his toxicity slide.. when that is what they should be riding his ass for

also twitch ain't banning him so it ain't a hugbox

not rage on a game over and over just because they are bad
not beg for money for an hour everyday like some panhandler

fuck man, they must like ENJOY their "job" or just enjoy playing games and decided to make some money off of it, or just do it for fun if they aren't getting money off of it.

So tomorrow we can expect the following:

1) Start with a weak-ass apology
2) Saying he ran his mouth a bit more than he should have, kicked a hornet's nest
3) Fell victim to a swarm of angry responses that took his words out of context
4) The stress ruined his staycation, he didn't get any rest, he's more stressed now than he was before
5) Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, now he just has to stay positive and focus on having fun playing games with you guys on stream.
6) Ban anyone who says "Paid Shill" or "True Gamer" in chat or brings up his Twitter at all

If any of these points don't come true tomorrow I will be genuinely shocked.
