You can't delete anything. Forensic data recovery is a real thing. If you destroy your hard drive, they'll still get you on destruction of evidence.

Simply deleting your file and emptying the trash bin doesn't necessarily delete the file itself. There's still gonna be some traces of it left on the hard drive. As for how they recover it I am not sure, we only touched this subject briefly in my forensics class.

Yeah but if you shred the data properly instead it should be impossible to do anything about it unless they already knew it was there and can prove you destroyed it because you knew it was going to be evidence.

The problem that Zaush will have is the same problem Glip/Marl will have. A lot of this content was shared online in the context of messages and conversations. The police/feds/whoever are able to subpoena those companies for access to their log files. He can delete his own shit, but there's nothing he can do to remove his online trail. For all we know, they may have already been keeping tabs on him since he's a high-profile artist that produces detailed illustrations of sex acts with children. Giving her a dog head doesn't change her 12yo human body.

I do agree he does, I do agree with him on the fact that furry twitter does tend to go on witch hunts at times for people for the wrong things without gathering the facts first. They'll definitely get riled up about even the wrong things and charge in blindly, Zaush in the case is definitely a contributing problem and I do see him using this as a means for the whole Tacklebawks drama that blew up a week ago.
