Brianna Wu / John Walker Flynt - "Biggest Victim of Gamergate," Failed Game Developer, Failed Congressional Candidate

A few years ago, Brianna ran a stream for the then-unreleased PC version of Rev 60, its purpose being to frame GamerGate as the sole culprit for the crowdfunded project's glacial progress.

During the stream, Brianna was apparently posting to her own stream using an account named "GooberGabber" and a macro.

This would later become one of the most veritable instances of Brianna faking her own harassment.

The place where Brianna screwed up - @GethN7 will be able to recall this more accurately better than me - is she had this account running a few minutes time and sending rape and death threats.
Then, GethN7 visits the stream under his same name and posts some very innocuous well-wish to the effect of "good luck with your game".
GethN7's account is kicked from the Rev 60 stream by Brianna a few seconds after his first post. The GooberGabber account is still on her stream.
Brianna being Brianna, she then keeps her GooberGabber script running and posting for several more minutes after GethN7's ban before she finally kicks the "GooberGabber" account.

More like I was completely ignored as if I hadn't expressed any goodwill.

Meanwhile, Wu just focused on said sock as if all he got was harassment.

If Wu actually committed to doing streams weekly rather than once every 6 months, you could see how it might make an interesting part of modern political campaign.

The pitch would be something like "Every Saturday we hang out for a few hours, play some games and talk about this week's campaign events and how you can help. Come join us, 3PM-7PM on Twitch!" Dress up the channel nicely in campaign livery, spend half an hour the day before making a list of things you want to say during the stream, interact with the chat. Maybe that'd be time well spent.

It'd be something other than terrible gameplay, a bare default channel that doesn't even have links to her website on it and Brianna growling at Frank to ban everyone in chat.

Lol Wu retweeted this. Of course we all admit that the Gamergate threat was an "invented" threat... And five guys blah blah blah.. But for Bribri to openly tag this on her stream? She must be back on the painkillers because of her "minor surgery." Moved on from Ambien to the hard stuff it seems.
I don't get the implication here. Is it that any type of criticism of journalists is harassment? Is he comparing it to Deep Freeze, a similar website made by pro GamerGaters that rated games journalists? Is he implying that a website like this will only be used for trolling?
I personally like the idea a lot, but we'll have to see, because it could potentially be abused by the far left/right spamming the journalists and articles they agree with with upvotes and the opposite with those they disagree with.

Lol, it doesn't matter how many black people or hispanics there are in, say, Georgia. The only thing that matters is how many of them actually show up to vote, and black and hispanic voter turnout is always low unless there's a black or hispanic in the election. And it's not from suppression, it's because so many of them don't especially value their vote and therefore don't register. Or have lost their voting rights through criminal convictions.

Black voters are also notoriously tribal, they very rarely show up to vote unless the candidate is also black.

Are you going to try and get some pee-pee touches from Comicsgate too, John?

Curt Schilling? Like the baseball player Curt Schilling? That Curt Schilling? Or is this a different one?

Bloody sock, the one and very same.

Hopefully this stream is more entertaining than the poor showing John Flynt put on last time, his signature totals would normally be an optimistic sign that it will be but this is campaign Flu we're talking about so no holding of the breath here over it.

Gosh, that's a fancy way of saying "My bid for mayor failed, so I needed a real job."
I wonder if this is Wu's plan, that after her campaign fails she's going to find a job with some ridiculous social justice non-profit that doesn't actually require her to do anything but never the less provides her with status so she can keep her name in the news. If so, it really isn't going to work. Tito Jackson actually had supporters and wasn't viewed as a total lunatic.

Doubt it, unless he is the absolute boss with absolute control about anything he is not going to like it

Brianna Wu does not want a job when he can leach off Frank. Even if it’s a meaningless fluff title that requires zero effort. He’s too lazy.
