I think there are very few situations in which a person's house burns down and people are like "nigga had a mercedes in the driveway get fucked". That's not how it works.

If it was something similar to a house burning down then its sort of a "disaster relief" which is aimed at helping someone get back on their feet after an unforeseeable incident. Even if it was Bill Gates or Oprah Winfrey, someone would definitely show up at their door with some food or offer a spare room for the night.

It's not donations so you can help pay off people's debt or other shit like that its purely helping someone in that kind of situation get back on their feet.

Charity donations are a good write off on taxes. So yes, it's kinda easy to believe Phil "Can I write-off the electric bill" Burnell would donate to a charity, if it meant the tax man would take less from him.

Edit- And it's really fucked that "Greedy ass" Phil Burnell might be donating to a charity and he's coming off better than his a-logs trying to grandstand by using a charity for attention.

He'd call them trolls and refuse to provide proof after saying his insurance adjuster is a huge fan and knows what the detractors are doing.

It would almost certainly be cheaper for him to transport Kat and himself to Connecticut, buy some stuff shitty stuff from Goodwill, and use the insurance claim to pay off the loan on the burned down condo and build up some savings than to stay in some hotel room for months while they rebuild.

Potentially, but not the point. Someone who loses everything in a house fire isn't any better or worse off in the immediate aftermath. Phil would need roughly the same thinga as Chris. Food clothes toiletries.

Sure he potentially bounces back a bit faster. Doesn't matter if you're standing in your front lawn in your boxers and there really is nothing you can do to save anything.

Doesn't mean you have to give money to buy him new tvs and shit. Powerlevel time: when my mom lost everything in a fire she had the financial freedom to bounce back quickly. Still cost a fortune and took a huge mental toll.

Too many people on here see Phil forget he's a real person who one day may really need help for real disasters. It's Phil's fault. He treats his business like he's raising money for charity 6 days a week.

I wouldn't say there's 'alot' of freak outs on Kiwi Farms, but this sub-forum probably has the worst of it. Certainly the escort thing was a good example.
People were showing up specifically to follow that story (that's how I got here). Modding that many randos in such an excited environment is of course gonna requiring knock'n some heads (if that's what you mean by 'freak outs').

Personally, I've stopped following the Twitter 'detractors' for the 'freak out' factor. For example: a while ago David Davidson reported the emergence of someone with 'Viking' in their name who suddenly was donating to Phil. The comment section was stirred up about this return of Vidar, who was obviously donating under a new pseudonym. Which of course he wasn't.

As far as 'freak outs' go, I'd say it's pretty balanced :/
