because its phil, and we all know phil, hes too childish and immature to ignore stuff that hurts his ego. he has a problem where he always has to be right, no matter what it takes.
its almost pitiful in a way. to see a 40 year old man still act like this. and by this time, youll never grow up. youll never be content with what you have. youll never stop wanting more, be it physical or mental.

He barely talks about it, but since he doesn't tie anything to the actual amount (as opposed to the pledge tier), no, he doesn't make the excuse. To borrow an explanation from myself in the Savings and Loan thread:

I think 2018 has been the year the detractors have really buried Phil.
First that godly Tevin watermark troll which is some of the most genius in years.
The dutch couple trolling him
Then sponsorship saga
Him himself losing BSV and a lot of his big spenders.
Him pretty much revealing he had been reading farms and drgkillers twitter because really strange references they made even Kat made of not existing and horseface. Even though they appeared on twitter they stemmed from here.
Him on the cusp of losing Swagginz
Him having practically no mods due to his environment
The tax saga getting a lot of light and a large majority seeing through Phils shit.

Its just halfway through the year nearly and with tax saga 2.0 be prepared for some major shilling but bonus Twitch trolling Dave by giving him this new sponsorship deal so he will essentially have to bend on himself or die by his own sword.

thats what i have a hard time understanding, didnt he say after 6 months of ebegging that he got enough donations and etc to pay the current taxes, but not the back taxes?

its like, if thats the case will 6 months of ebegging become the norm just to pay his annual taxes?

ofc its all one big lie though, but its funny to poke holes in his shitty stories

I can't imagine the convo between the two while Phil tries to justify putting the pictures up, considering Kat has kept a low-profile. The when comments call him out on respecting privacy he gets delete-happy. Of course, I'm assuming he did it with permission- if he didn't he probably shot himself in the foot just to prove trolls wrong again.

I think after two failed fundraising streams in 4 months, Phil came to the conclusion that the tax story was yielding diminishing returns on steady begging. He'll try one more time during the year to see if it can function well as a periodic emergency, maybe in September, and then he will pull it out again at Christmas with another #savethehouse campaign to exploit seasonal generosity with a crisis. He hasn't really worked the narrative enough to fit this schedule, but his paypigs are too stupid to notice or care.

I also just want to point out that the stream is currently going to start late because Phil is getting The Homemade Authentic Polish Sauce prepped. Couldn't get up early for that. I wonder if he'll go for a later clock out to balance it out? It is Sunday after all, no second stream because he has to take the evening to film the 20 minute standalone prestream as fanservice. Everything about his life has really just become a meme at this point.

He may have taken them months ago and Kat is gone for all we know. All we know from these pictures is that he really cares about us, maybe even more than Kat and his own safety according to him. Isn't that sweet?

Phil, since I know you're reading this...not buying it buddy. Your roomba hit the road as far as I'm concerned unless you release video of her with a verifiable date.
