I'm convinced that Phil doesn't actually know what the word "context" actually means.

Also, I love that his anti-hypocrite defense it literally just "I was in a tournament so STFU". He was perfectly fine being a shill for a shitty PS1 port that every respectable FGC player boycotted so he could brag about being a top player. 15 years later, and a far better port that's simply too fast for his senior citizen reflexes to keep up with is the inferior way to play Super Turbo by comparison.

Apparently broken ports are fair if its in a tournament but if its just casual play its not fair?? This is his logic. That the situation was different BECAUSE it was a tournament. Like wouldn't it make more sense to say broken ports are unfair in tournaments but fine for casual play? But eh, lets face it if he lost at Evo and was winning at SF30 he'd be calling the Evo port unfair and this port legit. Thats where the salt comes from.

It's just, if you're gonna be a hypocrite and make excuses, just make a good excuse except "That was different, that was a tournament have some context." "Well whats the context?" "Uh, uhm. NOT EVERYTHING IS BLACK AND WHITE. STOOPID!"

This is kind of something else Ive thought of. I mean he's not good at games but he's also nearly 40. At that age your reaction time is going to be a little worse, and he's talking about playing competitively where people are reacting to frames, you need to have good reaction time, the other good players certainly will. He's kind of aged out of that scene, nobody is "pro" forever, the "pro" career for anything is usually pretty short.
It’s not even that really. A lot of the people that are from the same generation of the FGC are still playing and getting placements. Justin Wong is still around and noone is going to be taking his records for a while yet. Daigo Umehara is the same age as him and got 3rd place in EVO Japan this year. Tokido is only a few years younger than him, and won EVO last year. He was a joke before he got on Youtube and his only noteworthy achievements are flukes or due to his betters not bothering.

All of his rivals achieved something later in life. Even Mike Watson who has his own share of drama.

So he just got an anonymous $100 tip, and acted barely enthusiastic about it... and right after that he continued to ask if someone could donate him a PS4 pro and send him a mail if anyone’s interested. Can’t make this shit up.

Are you joking? He belted out "oh my god" and for the rest of the match he was even more obnoxiously loud and vocal. Streamers tend to run out of massive outbursts when they get used to receiving giant wads of cash for sitting on their asses. As unfortunate as it is, Phil got used to receiving ridiculous tips a long time ago and he still thinks he's earned every last cent of it.

Well the PS4-beg is pure Phil, not many streamers are such asswipes that they have to ask for free stuff sent to him. That's just a whole new level of lazy. Even camwhores at least have a tip goal that says what they're going to buy with the money, Phil just wants someone to ship the fucking thing to him so he doesn't even have to go to a store to pick it up. Anyone remember him complaining that someone was sending him free stuff and he "was so busy playing video games that he couldn't get up to answer the door?" (Thank god he has a maid now) If this was my first time hearing about him, I'd call bullshit on him saying something like that, it feels impossible that there exists a person living such a slob lifestyle and still whining about free shit.

To be fair if Phil buys himself a ps4 pro he'd get ridiculed somewhat, after all the "everything goes towards bills" schtick he's been pushing. But the greed is massively strong with DarkSydeShill.

Oh I'll be a son of a bitch. He was right for one minute. He had Chun Li spamming fireballs as the AI. And he's completely right. That's the AI cheating. Like I explained the other day. So if whoever is in charge of this board could be nice and put a second tally mark in column, that would be swell.

Phil gets ridiculed no matter what he does. At least getting a gaming console is part of what he technically does to get money. Shit like the PSVR is what doesn't make sense when he never uses it and he also doesn't bother trying to sell it.

Hey there's an idea; Why the hell doesn't he just trade in his useless garbage gathering dust? For the life of me I can't even think of a joke answer because he sure as fuck isn't a collector, he keeps trading in the games he gets.

He won't trade it because he's one of those idiot collectors who thinks they should get the original MSRP for something despite it being used. It's the same reason he won't sell his damaged statues - he wants back nearly what he originally paid for them, despite the fact that:

- They were opened, so RIP resell value
- They're damaged, so LOL resell value
- They're giant statues, which have become obsolete in the past few years as toy engineering has improved to the point that high-end action figures can have the same level of detail as a statue, along with having full articulation and accessories.

So, since his EVO 4th place placement and his whining about SF30 are so different in DSP's eyes, lets see if anyone can guess whether I'm talking about DSP's EVO placement or DSP's encounters with Super Turbo on SF30.

The port of Super Turbo is broken
Person A has played a lot of that broken port.
Person B has not.
Person A beats person B because they know all the tricks of the broken port.

This should be so easy seeing as how they're two vastly different things with different contexts behind them apparently.

Okay, I 100% repeat all of you here but I do something additional, sounds good? So Phil claims he was promised the arcade version of Super Street Figher II Turbo but they made the game too fast so it's not the "real version", instead it's basically the emulated edition which apparently all of mankind played since 10 years - because people have nothing better to do than practicing SSF2T on emulators, I guess. He is adapted to the "real" version which has the right speed. He also doesn't want to practice the current version because just that's why, fuck you, it's not a tournament and because it's not the real version (waah, waah, I'm not a lazy whiny baby). So the old man is unwilling to adapt to any fighting game anymore, gotcha.

He also stated SSF2T runs AT LEAST at a factor of 1,5 faster as it should be. Well, you activated my trap card, dood. So the following seems a bit unnecessary because we know the game runs a little bit faster, but I want to prove a point here.

Let's travel with our DeLorian to the right space & time, where we can be sure it's played on an arcade box (or at least it looks like and the buttons sound like arcade and it's a tournament (UFGT7)). Let's choose this video from DSPStreetFigherWaitWhaaaat? Remember this channel? Yes, ugly old times. And we compare it to a current video of him where he also played DeeJay. It was a "fun" search because he also uploads videos with connection errors and drags it on for minutes - great khantent dood.
It's hard to compare speed with the naked eye so I need to search for an easy to measure move. I decided to go for DeeJays Super Multi Spin Kick Move Thing (I don't play Street Fighter) because it's long and he kicked it against a blocking enemy in both videos. I don't exactly know when the move comes out in the tournament cuz it's hard to tell with this shitty camera, so I synchronize it when it seems to start in the current game version which seem to skip some frames.

So as you can see I start with this pose. Maybe it's off by around half a frame or so, it doesn't really matter.

But the move ends up with this. On the left he's 1 frame before he finishes his super, but on the right he's in the middle of a new move.

If you want to see it in movement, here you go. It starts and ends with the freeze frames just like the pictures above and runs with 10% of the original speed.

So how big was this difference? If I check in original speed, DeeJay needs 87 frames on arcade and 78 frames on console. You don't need to be a mathematical genius to see how this is not the claimed x1,5 (what a big surprise). In my book this is around x1,11 the original speed. Significant enough to make a difference and to be clearly visible, but not too fast to adapt.

Wanna know how slow he imagines Super Turbo? Well, if I slow down his current gameplay to 66% (1/1,5=0,66): https://imgur.com/a/26Yaad2

He also played against a Ryu on arcade and sometimes the game slows down when he fired a Hadouken (real gamers and fans of the series call it a "Fireball" d00d) which gave me an idea. Maybe, just maybe, the game runs now on the initial intended speed because we finally have the technology to get rid of lags and slowdowns. So Super Turbo could be optimized for the current technological state and it's not a bug or a "fucked up port". You know, arcade machines are old shit in comparison?

So I wanted to prove a point, right? Here it is:
Phil, everybody can fact check your bullshit. I did it right now and I gladly sacrificed a few hours just to prove your ass wrong. Nobody needs to rely on your words to find the truth (or even my words, that's why I provided sources).
We possess the internet, the technology, the know-how to investigate the truth. If you don't know better and talk right out your ass, fine then. But don't call others stupid idiots just because they disagree with you (and rightfully so). You and your streams aren't the only sources to find out what a piece of trash you are and you know this very well. That's why your only defences are: "Don't trust others, they lie to your face" or "They twist my word" or "It's stupidity if you believe that", which is very rich coming from you. Arguments on the level of a small child, that's all you can provide.

The rare time I was unbanned in chat I did ask whether it was, from a business point of view, wasteful expenditure (didn't phrase it like that but didn't want to confuse the idiot) to get the PSVR. He answered that he made his money back and was happy at that. For him he doesn't value the entertainment factor in these products, it's how much money he'll generate because of it. It's a sad life to lead.

I am just waiting for another 29 inch penis to come in a PS4 Pro box.
