Okay, I 100% repeat all of you here but I do something additional, sounds good? So
Phil claims he was promised the arcade version of Super Street Figher II Turbo but they made the game too fast so it's not the "real version", instead it's basically the emulated edition which apparently all of mankind played since 10 years - because people have nothing better to do than practicing SSF2T on emulators, I guess. He is adapted to the "real" version which has the right speed. He also doesn't want to practice the current version because just that's why, fuck you, it's not a tournament and because it's not the real version (waah, waah, I'm not a lazy whiny baby). So the old man is unwilling to adapt to any fighting game anymore, gotcha.
He also stated SSF2T runs AT LEAST at a factor of
1,5 faster as it should be. Well, you activated my trap card, dood. So the following seems a bit unnecessary because we know the game runs a little bit faster, but I want to prove a point here.
Let's travel with our DeLorian to the right space & time, where we can be sure it's played on an arcade box (or at least it looks like and the buttons sound like arcade and it's a tournament (UFGT7)). Let's choose
this video from DSPStreetFigherWaitWhaaaat? Remember this channel? Yes, ugly old times. And we compare it to a
current video of him where he also played DeeJay. It was a "fun" search because he also uploads videos with connection errors and drags it on for minutes - great khantent dood.
It's hard to compare speed with the naked eye so I need to search for an easy to measure move. I decided to go for DeeJays Super Multi Spin Kick Move Thing (I don't play Street Fighter) because it's long and he kicked it against a blocking enemy in both videos. I don't exactly know when the move comes out in the tournament cuz it's hard to tell with this shitty camera, so I synchronize it when it seems to start in the current game version which seem to skip some frames.
So as you can see I start with this pose. Maybe it's off by around half a frame or so, it doesn't really matter.
But the move ends up with this. On the left he's 1 frame before he finishes his super, but on the right he's in the middle of a new move.
If you want to see it in movement, here you go. It starts and ends with the freeze frames just like the pictures above and runs with 10% of the original speed.

So how big was this difference? If I check in
original speed, DeeJay needs 87 frames on arcade and 78 frames on console. You don't need to be a mathematical genius to see how this is not the claimed
x1,5 (what a big surprise). In my book this is around
x1,11 the original speed. Significant enough to make a difference and to be clearly visible, but not too fast to adapt.
Wanna know how slow he imagines Super Turbo? Well, if I slow down his current gameplay to 66% (1/1,5=0,66):

He also played against a Ryu on arcade and sometimes the game slows down when he fired a Hadouken (real gamers and fans of the series call it a "Fireball" d00d) which gave me an idea. Maybe, just maybe, the game runs
now on the initial intended speed because we finally have the technology to get rid of lags and slowdowns. So Super Turbo could be optimized for the current technological state and it's not a bug or a "fucked up port". You know, arcade machines are old shit in comparison?
So I wanted to prove a point, right?
Here it is:
Phil, everybody can fact check your bullshit. I did it right now and I gladly sacrificed a few hours just to prove your ass wrong. Nobody needs to rely on your words to find the truth (or even my words, that's why I provided sources).
We possess the internet, the technology, the know-how to investigate the truth. If you don't know better and talk right out your ass, fine then. But don't call others stupid idiots just because they disagree with you (and rightfully so). You and your streams aren't the only sources to find out what a piece of trash you are and you know this very well. That's why your only defences are: "Don't trust others, they lie to your face" or "They twist my word" or "It's stupidity if you believe that", which is very rich coming from you. Arguments on the level of a small child, that's all you can provide.
