This raised a huge red flag for me, especially now that they have recorded streams and podcasts together. I presume this means A) He befriended Jerry in hopes of influencing and knocking some sense into Peet's immensely thick skull, B) Peet trying to save face by being friendly to a fellow brony, C) Peet simply wants him to be part of her cult, or D) All of the above.

From what I've observed, the answer is B and C. Back when Jerry was trying to say "Not everyone in the community is a terrible PoS" he made a video praising Sketchy. Jerry has since said a lot about Sketchy in his videos, sometimes praise, sometimes weirdly worded criticism.

Side question: Approximately how long until Sketchy becomes Josh 2.0? (As much as I'd love to see that, I doubt it'll actually happen)

Given Jerry’s track record of maintaining friendships it’s possible. I’d be more surprised if Peet didn’t grow to resent Sketchy eventually.

That proposal has nothing to do with terrorism or child pornography or anything of the like... The idea is to take the horrific monstrosity that is youtube's bot and deletion system, crank it up to 11, and force every site to have something like it. Imagine posting a photo from a Reuters article and either getting blocked on posting or having it deleted a short time later, or the site you were posting it to getting fined for millions for not proactively monitoring every single post for potential copyright violations. And if the site uses a bot, then something as innocuous as an old Boromir "one doesn't just" will get killed, because the bot don't care about transformative works or fair use.

Jerry is, as always, a clueless fucking idiot.

On Legion (a pretty shitty film, I don't recommend it), God put a savior into another woman's body and told his angels to kill the resulting baby claiming that He had lost hope in humanity.

At the end of the film, the baby survives and the formerly Fallen Angel tells the Angel Gabriel that this was a test to God's Angels to see if they were willing to give humans the mercy he had given humanity time and time again. Ergo, the film shows the disastrous ramifications of losing your faith when it's being tested.
