So he saw some success in his Not Playing The Game Stream and decided to bring up the podcast again. Never ever listened to a podcast that does shout-outs, constant breaks, and a prestream just for it. This seems more like Prestream: Ultra Edition.

LMFAO "kat is my angle" then in more or less words he pretty much said that he was super depressed after his last breakup and now having her makes is life so much easier now. circling thats is most likely having someone to cook for him again and help with the bills

That missing another payment is probably his "problem", and it's just him trying to see if taxes can get pity nickels.
 
He's doing the "I'm depressed. . ." bit again. He isn't depressed. He's just bummed his life isn't what he wants it to be. At best he's stressed because there is ZERO reality in which he'd be saying any of this if he actually was successful; you can truck backwards and see from his behavior in the past that this is the case.

If he had claimed that he had diabetes and/or stress, sure that sounds reasonable, but his depression talk is just depressing to listen to as he have no idea what he talks about!

The depression act wasn't a success. Not even the fans were buying it once he started using depression as an excuse for the Twitter blow up and other past events. Waiting to see what scheme he cooks up next to get the bits flowing, is like waiting for the next episode of a thrilling T.V series.

I'm not going into it. I'm not into showing my power level. But the little I will say is this: DSP shows no classic signs of depression. As someone who has suffered from depression and eventually overcome it, I do not see this guy suffering from depression.

Depression is a gigantic weight pressing you down. You don't want to get up, you don't see the point. You devalue yourself, and constantly withdraw.

The only weight dragging DSP down is that gut. And he doesn't want to get up cause he's lazy. He still thinks he shits gold. He calls a month where he was nearly banned from youtube and begged extra $$ from his fan base a "successful month."

If this pending news is a depression diagnosis I'm calling bull til he hangs himself.

Yup, I'd wager even a lot of the real tournament players are getting a run for their money if they're jumping back in for the first time since the dawn of online era SF. Let's face it, even in its heyday SF was far more closed off when it was just a bunch of bros from here and there across the country who had the patience to buy a ticket just to attend some weird niche contest in Las Vegas compared to now when virtually anybody plunking down $60 can play anybody across the world who did the same.

Its like the chess champion of medieval Oxford logging on to the internet for a match. Now replace champion with 4th placer in a boycotted tournament where the referee got drunk and forgot the rules.

So, uh, the main thing Phil's referring to here with the "Tryhard" thing is a series of matches (at least 9 that I saw) with a sub of his (the game literally subbed today!) named LowTechGaming. LowTechGaming beat Phil a majority of the time that I saw (like 6 or 7 out of the 9) with a really good Fei Long. Phil, of course, was bitching about lag and game speed and his usual excuses. Then he saw that LowTechGaming was in chat and started talking shit about how what LowTech was doing wouldn't work offline and was totally unsafe...and LowTech said the following (entire log here-- https://overrustlelogs.xyz/Darksydephil chatlog/June 2018/userlogs/lowtechgaming):

EDIT: Also, could you imagine HOW WORSE HE WOULD BE if he actually WINS that EVO? He would be even more of an asshole.
 
Just to jump in to the neverending stream of speculation about what Phil actually makes, I have a friend who is a YouTuber. We were talking about Phil and they decided to jump on his SocialBlade to see what his estimated revenue was. They told me their own earnings were right down the middle of their SB estimate, and that based on that Phil is making 5-8k per month from YouTube.

So, there's that. Usually when people we discuss (Phil, Amy Slaton for example) are asked about SB they say their earnings definitely on the low end of the spectrum and according to my friend that's bullshit.

When I first found out about DSP I thought it was an act he put on that he just pretends to be stupid.

Honestly how do you do YouTube for 10 fucking years and not know how to entice an audience to watch your videos?
