You can find Trump appalling and still treat his supporters like fellow humans (and also recognize that Trump is not equivalent to Hitler). I think you can do both of these things without becoming a hypocrite.
That said, I don't follow King's Twitter, so I don't know what his past statements have been.

I'm trying to parse this. The upper photo shows Neville Chamberlain meeting with Hitler, Goering and co. – a symbol of Chamberlain's misguided attempt to make peace between his government and the Nazis, when confrontation might ultimately have been less destructive. Who is Hitler in the below photo? Who is Chamberlain? Is the message, "The fact that Sam Harris will sit down at a table with Jordan Peterson and chat with him peaceably instead of trying to brawl with him a sign that fascism is upon us"? Or did the poster just assume that everyone at the table was a Nazi because the only person they recognized was Hitler?

Trumptards and Republicans in general hate Hillary about as much as SJWs hate Trump, and somehow manage not to publicly stroke out and scream helplessly at the sky at her existence. Same with Obama and they somehow didn't die after eight years of him.

Guild Wars 2 just fired two people who were mocking a community partner of theirs. They claimed he was being sexist when he was only offering criticism. The instigator also mocked the death of TotalBiscuit. Her twitter profile is pretty standard TDS stuff. That said another person is now apparently facing backlash for some dumb shit he tweeted -- he has deleted his profile.
