Is there not a significant amount of ~mlm tranboi~s on reddit? I'm seeing a shocking lack of them in this thread, only something like 2 posts even mentioning FtM at all. They're equally delusional but in the opposite way. Not "I look like [X]" but "[X] look like me."

I used to think I was just a magnet for troons but I realized that the social contagion theory was correct, especially for autists, maybe specifically for autists, and especially for weaboos. I only have one sperg friend who didn't suddenly go, "oh wow I've totally been questioning too" or start to slowly animorph into a hairy catgirl or wannabe-bishie after I came out to them...and that ONE was the only one who wasn't also a weaboo. It seems like they aggregate on other sites like tumblr, whereas Reddit's trans circles are pretty much MtF dominated. It could be some subconscious disdain for the hilarious amount of thinly-veiled misogyny that crops up anywhere that MtFs start to get too comfortable.

Even on Tumblr I rarely see FtM. My personal theory is that it's because most transtrenders start out as weebs / vidya-obsessed weirdos, a population that is predominantly masculine.

You'll actually find a lot of FtM's, especially if you hang out around fandom cricles that tend to be predominantly female. It's very much a trend for young straight fujoshis to start identifying as gay males, and presenting themselves as non-threatening feminine softbois UwU. One of the people I talk to is an ftm. Not the ugu fujoshi mlm type because he's boring like that. He talked to me a while back about how much he doesn't like the trans subreddits. According to him, not only do they sometimes run off ftms with pitchforks because "horrible privileged men can't talk about transphobia!" but they also scare off the more moderate trannies with their extremist opinions and blatant AGP.

Wesley Bailey, along with fellow mods, used to try to ban ftms from these subreddits for pretty much just talking, so I believe it.

Laurelai was also embroiled in a reddit tranny war that resulted in him stepping down as moderator of /r/lgbt.

That's probably why these subreddits generate massive amounts of deviance even by tranny standards. If you're not deviant enough, you'll get kicked, and if you've got an icky vag, you'll get kicked. I guess even tumblr's mlms wouldn't last long there.

FtMs are popping up more and more now, especially as terms like "top surgery" and "t" become commonplace in the community, and as YouTubers who are FtM pop up bragging about their transition. Hell, in the infamous Atlantic article the first person talked about is a girl who for a while wished she were a boy, and TERFs and websites critical of the trans movement like 4thwavenow have been talking about FtMs quite a bit.

Long story because I should probably explain how I have these screenshots. Y'all remember how r/transdiy appeared in the Daily Mail because they're immoral enough to peddle black market hormones to minors and stupid enough to list all the shady stores they get it from right there in the subreddit?

Well, when they popped up in the news, r/transdiy encouraged everyone to join a discord to post selfies and talk about illegal shit privately for absolutely no reason because their list of black market stores are still public. I joined for shits and giggles. The discord link instantly took me to the general chat where they were all talking about buying estrogen illegally with bitcoin, but I needed to be vetted to see the designated areas for selfies and yet another list of stores. The vetting system they have is shit because all I had to do was say that I was either an enby, mtf, or ftm. Btw the admin got so excited at me saying ftm, a cold shiver went down my spine.

I checked back in on them recently out of boredom and this was the first thing I saw.

I am extremely envious of women, to such a degree that it's a bit unhealthy. It doesn't even necessarily have to be an attractive woman. I get triggered all the time. Even just seeing them in the news, hearing a story about one, or interacting with them in real life can be challenging for me. It's so bad that I almost hate women in a way. Not in a sexist way or anything, it's just because they exist and are something I'm not. I'm very attracted to women, but I honestly think I'd have a difficult time dating one because of how envious I'd be of her. I feel like I'd just be angry at her all the time.

I think it's common for all trans people to experience envy on some level though. The way I feel is not normal though. The way I deal with it is to just try and ignore it. That's probably not the best coping mechanism, but it's all that works for me.

Ironically, it supports the gender stereotypes that troons claim to hate so much. When you define gender as a social construct, changing your gender based upon the stereotypes of gender only makes things worse. For a man to "become" a woman by putting on a dress and makeup, or by being "soft" and "dainty", reinforces that to be a woman means to be those things. Likewise for men who "feel like" a certain gender based upon those stereotypes.

In cases of autogynephiles like the above, it embodies the stereotypes of "men are sexually dominant" and "women are sexually submissive". The man in question is sexually submissive, therefore he must be a woman. That's pretty messed up.

Because being homosexual is being attracted to the same sex, while being transgender is having body dysmorphia which studies show might be caused by having a brain inbetween male and female.
