I know Utena is like the gayest anime ever made but it seems to be having a revival for all the wrong reasons.

The creator did say he liked doing stuff like that because he found it hot not for equality and shit. Wouldn't be surprised if he's got skeletons in his closet. And he's close friends with the creator of Evangelion if that means anything.

The dude directed Sailor Moon too I'm pretty sure he's just really gay. Utena is actually good though because the director just did not give a fuck and its stream of consciousness madness throughout. I found a complaint thread on Twitter about the panel, which apparently was more about life/sob stories rather than anime, and Jacob himself. Looks like he's apart of a game/Kickstarter scam with slower production than YandereDev.

Was she? I remember her being tepidly against gay marriage for a while, but she changed her tune PDQ when the peer pressure kicked in. (In any case, like most hicklibs, she'd probably just use that as a segue into shitting on her parents and family. Because of course it will.)

Oh honey, he went on and on in the ANN boards (around the time she started fucking to get a job on there...very Boku no Sexual Harassment of him minus the corn scene) about how homosexuality was "unnatural" among other shit.
And now hes one of the head honchos of the site and likes to say that a lesbian should get with her male cousin in one particular anime.
