What? The 25th amendment is about the president dieing, or getting shot in the face and is stuck in a coma so that the country has a plan for a president in such a case that the president cannot physically carry out the duties. Because there's NOTHING to recount. All there is is a number in the machine. Without an audit trail, you can do absolutely nothing. Paper ballots are counted by optical scanning by a machine. Then you keep the ballots themselves. Then if the two don't match, you have something to recount.

Yeah, taking donations especially from foreign people for "personal use" while running for office is under the column labelled "don't." Any serious politician would have shut down the patreon before declaring, especially since they really don't need the money.

Nothing is ever going to happen to Wu though, the FEC don't even have any budget for going after the really big offenders and their enforcement powers beyond taking someone to court are pathetic. Hell, there's actual fraud in her accounts where she labels the Jet Blue fight to Washington when she went to get her Porsche as part of the "campaign trip" to Indiana. That trip is in itself dodgy considering it wasn't a campaign event, and she got paid for it personally.

I doubt Wu is even smart enough to realise what she's doing wrong. It's just a big pile of other peoples' money to her that she can do what she likes with.
