What is the appeal of sitting on the floor of the backs of cars for him? I don't get that, there's like twenty of these.

I mentioned that on the last page. Short answer though is autism.

I'm just gonna throw this out there, but probably because they were bland, fairly slow-paced, and didn't over-stimulate the senses. A lot of dialogue and not a lot of action. Also, they were mostly toy-based. It's likely a lot easier for people with autism to process the information coming from these cartoons instead of something a little more cerebral. Remember how much Chris liked adult swim animation so much despite the obvious humor flying over his head? I'd imagine it's difficult for people with even lower-functioning autism to really "get" anything meant for older audiences and it's probably super off-putting.
Yeah, that's probably true. 80s cartoons were simple and (metaphorically) two dimensional. Even something with just a LITTLE more complexity like Adventure Time would probably make their heads explode, much less something like, say, Venture Bros.

But enough about MY 'tism. Yeah, this guy is particularly fascinating to me, and I'm curious to see where this crazy train goes.

This guy feels like a mix of rainbow man and nick bate.

But he doesn’t quite have the “holy fucking shit this guy literally wants to rape children, and writes songs about it and then says a young child raped him on social media vibe.” Nor does he give the “Completely harmless, funny vibe” that rainbow man gives.

So, it's a small, cramped space, that much is obvious. But since this guy is displaying HEAVY amounts of :autism: it's not hard to piece together why he's so obsessed with it. He probably thought sitting in a car felt unnatural to him, so what he'd do is crouch down and sit where he had as little stimulation as possible. A lot of autistic people like to be in close spaces because it makes them feel safe.
  • no seatbelts (seatbelts can feel awful for people with sensory problems)
  • less noisy than sitting in the seat
  • less bright than sitting in the seat
  • good place to hide when you need to be alone
  • unique texture of floor mats
There's a lot of reasons why that sort of space would be comforting for kids or even adults with autism.

This guy is the most interesting lolcow I've heard about in a while. It's like he bridges the gap between the hilarious exceptionalism of classic Chris and the creepiness of Nick Bates almost perfectly. He doesn't seem like a pedophile in the traditional "wants to fuck children" sense, even though his obsession with cartoon children would imply otherwise. On the contrary, he seems like he is permanently stuck in the year 1987 as a mental 6-year old. Knowing that, his low mental age and extreme lack of self-awareness makes him completely unaware of how creepy his obsession with cartoon children makes him look. He may also be borderline schizophrenic due to his extremely repetitive nature. Also, as @The Fool has stated earlier, I believe his obsession with "sitting on the floor in the back of cars" thing is his little "hugbox" so to speak, in the sense that said area of the car makes him feel "safe" from the outside world. Perhaps, his parents used to take him out on roadtrips alot when he was 4-7 years old, and he would sit on the floor and watch the scenery as it passed by, and those memories stuck with him like glue ever since.

Either way, I'll be keeping close tabs on him as I, like many others here, am very interested in knowing more about this mental trainwreck, and what makes his brain tick. He's definitely the epitome of what it means to be a man-child even more so than Chris Chan. Erik/Taz here has tons of "lolcow of the year" potential. That "game-show theme parody" cover he made where he sings was absolutely hilarious. If he's made anymore videos/song parodies like that, then somebody seriously needs to find/save them.

Also, out of curiousity, I googled "Waretown, NJ" and it appears to be a small town right by the shoreline in Jersey.

ahhh, this guy gives me the heebie jeebies. scrolling down to see that image of a vhs tape with shittily put together text on the cover made my heart jump.

there's something so disturbing to be said about autists that don't understand sexuality. as he aged, it's likely nobody was willing to help him through puberty and his "feelings." since he himself believes he's a child it makes sense that he's "attracted" to them - though he definitely isn't fully aware of what that means. I do wonder who told him what a pedophile is though? because it's very weird he keeps reassuring himself he's not one, which means he knows what the word means.

the stories about kimberly are so puzzling. why did her parents allow this to continue? why did his OWN parents allow this to continue? did any of it really happen or is he exaggerating? he's delusional so it's possible he just observed her and made up all the shit about eating ice cream with her, etc. but there's no way to be sure.

I want to know more but I'm scared of what we'll find...

I just... scrolled through his deviantart and I need puppies right now!
Was anyone else super disturbed by the combination of recurring themes of little girls crossing the street alone and sitting on the floor in the back of cars?

What have you done already, Erik?

Try more than 150 of those.

Went to bed on page 8, read the rest of this thread up to here and I've come to the conclusion this guy is a sadcow. Are the things he's posting disturbing? Fuck yeah. But then you look deeper and all I see is this pitiful tard. I'll echo what others have said, it's more depressing than funny. Chris was funny, Nick was infuriating, and Erik is just sad.

If this isn't the definition of a sadcow I don't know what is.

I looked through his fanfics...

He has like 20 stupid ones... I was expecting over 60 fics of the same garbage.

I am pretty sure DragonTales aired when he was at an age where he be too old to watch it. As for the Nelvada Carebears, it would of been aired around the age where he could enjoy it. It is pretty obscure, though.

He just repeats the same lines over and over. I never knew anyone in DragonTales wore pants. They were naked, save for the small trinkets around their necks.

Taz's bazaar child fixation reminds me of another low functioning man. I had a family member who worked with people with special needs at an institution. There was one man in particular who he worked with was actually quite similar to Taz.

He had the mentality of a six year old and had an obsession with toys and cartoons but at the time was in his forties. He was charged with sexual assault against a minor. Due to being mentality challenged, he didn't wind up in prison but he had to be kept away from from children and young adults, constantly be watched so that he doesn't harm anyone else. I just hope Taz here doesn't end up harming someone and perhaps should find himself either in an institution or at least have a professional to keep an eye one him (unless he has one :optimistic:). He's just an accident waiting to happen.

As many kiwis have already stated in the thread, I can't help but think the shit fetishism might not be exactly sexual per se, but instead, he had to deal with having his diaper changed every now and then as a child, and possibly even now. Considering that a lot of Erik's art seems to reflect on certain parts of his life whether it be his obsessions (sitting in the back of cars) or his biggest memories (His father dying), it wouldn't surprise me this was the case, and Erik became attached to it too.
