No, this is Phil we're talking about here remember. The same Phil who kept pointing his camera at his TV for years. The same Phil who refused to try twitch. The same Phil who wouldn't play Minecraft. He hasn't even looked into scripts because typing it out like a pleb is how he's always done it. And typos and not remembering names/amounts is raw, unedited streaming dood!

well given his paypig's eager nature, he might be able to be a cheapskate and get a script done by one of them for free. That's just a thought that occurred to me

Just looking at the recent Eddie fight in SH2 was hilarious just by seeing Phil's eyes getting sucked into the chat screen looking for someone to spoon feed him what to do.

It's hilarious seeing him dive deep head first into his laptop to read chat. Like holy shit dude, rearrange your "office" so you can simply move your eyes to the left to read it instead of having to contort your whole upper body just to read a sentence.

Eh. Even when he's on his PC and has the chat window in a more appropriate spot, he still stares very plainly. His piss-poor eyesight means he can't get away with quick glances, so it's still obvious.

And, as mentioned, all his posturing before and after being suspended on Twitch 2 times. I'm honestly going to be a little surprised if Twitch takes no action at all about that Jim Sterling rant. The sarcasm is whatever, but he called Sterling toxic and a dickhead. Honestly seems similar to his ranting at the blue-haired guy, which did get him in trouble.

I don't understand the complaints about manually typing the top tips/cheers vs. a script, but since you nudniks don't get it, here's real talk...

Using scripts is far easier than actual typing and Dave is the hardest working man on the internet. Do you really expect him to let the computer insert the information for him? That's stupid! That would be cheating, and DSP is just not the kind of person to bend the rules.

What next? He takes too long on a puzzle and you want him to look up an online guide or ask chat for the answer? Ack ack ack! DSP is a real gamer folks.

He already invested in a green screen. He has had one for years because people suggested it. Phil is too damn lazy to set it up and use it.

Even if he makes it so that just him and the couch appear on screen it would be a huge improvement. That's not as easy as moving his clunky square cam from one corner to the other.


I used to make assets for a fighting game tourney a group I'm in runs. Setting up OBS and making overlays is one of the easiest things to do. If I were a streamer myself, I would probably invest in some type of stream deck or something to keep from having to lean over and press keys to get things to do what i want. Phil can't even be assed to optimize the location of his TV and Camera though so I don't expect any real effort.

His latest excuse for not using a greenscreen is that he doesn't have enough space behind the couch...its a fucking sheet how much room do you need.

The gout prince has bestowed new lore upon us! He's really running fast down this new path of "Invalid Click Activity only consists of clicking one's own ads, or the deployment of bots." So, now, he's opening the door to the possibility that he *may* have told people to click on ads back in 2009, but that doesn't matter because... AdSense was structured completely differently back then. It's ancient history! He assured us that no matter what he may have urged people to do, he never got punished for it anyways. You're spinning conspiracy theories if you think any such audio (if it exists!) is relevant.

And speaking of conspiracy theories, he claimed outright today that trolls deceptively edited the Supermeatboi incident to make it sound like he was piling on to an innocent person.

Really spicy prestream all in all. There was more than what I've mentioned. Can't wait for the mirror, as I can barely make sense of it having only listened once.

Many people stream and record from their bedrooms. I would even say a clear majority. A thimble's worth of ingenuity would help him to a solution WRT the green screen.

His biggest gripe is that he doesn't want to cover the soundproofing foam. I think it's time to take the leap and have soundproofing insulation installed inside the walls rather than relying on the panels he has pinned to the outsides of them. After all, Phil said the last thing he would ever do was leave that house. "It's the address of a registered business. All the business equipment is here." He should be willing to invest.

Phil quite graciously leaves comments on the vlogs channel enabled, except for those times he thinks serious pushback is going to come. A "fun" video of him fooling around in the shower was not deemed to be one of those times.
