I'm trying to optimize the physics simulation to not be hellishly slow, and I see this one node flailing around while everything else is chill. Guess who's node it is? excelsiolef broke the simulation. Hanging out right beside ZeoVGM. Reminder that nothing about this data set specifically targets either of them, it's just how the data came out, and where the physics simulation decided to place them.

Note that the whole yellow/blue thing is currently meaningless, there was a bug in that logic that I'll need to backfill data on.

I've begun recording reply chain meta-data starting from an actioned post (including anything replied to in that post). This data is parsed into user nodes that connect to other users. The idea is to find patterns of people at the center of the web replying to people who get actioned. It suggest replying to this person, or getting replied to will get you actioned.

Positions aren't really meaningful, it's a physics driven node network so stuff with lots of connections get drawn to the center. You can drag nodes around.

Van Bur3n from the last image would be a candidate for such a person. Yellow dots with lots of blue connections are examples of getting dog-piled. Of course this code is very early and Van Bur3n might just be a false positive in this example.

I am being entirely genuine, I feel like cartman after he saw the Thompson's. The fact that it measures actions and isn't just a representation of social hierarchies on reee is just the icing on the cake, because that's all anyone is going to see when they look at it, all their doublethink and important discussions reduced to a dot. A dot that maybe has other dots near it, but never as many as the clusters of dots around it. It's beautiful. There aren't enough winner ratings in the world for this.

I'm trying to figure out a compromise of performance and information. I might make multiple things I dunno. I might be restarting the app with an update, so try again if you don't get anything.

To even show up on the graph, you need to have recieved at least 8 replies to actioned post, or have sent at least 8 replies to an actioned post, or have sent at least 4 actioned post replies which includes at least one user with who has at least received 8 replies on their actioned post. It's still fucking huge. This is like if you took the core out of a much larger network, everyone in here is suspect.

I'm still cleaning up the data and validating the results, so don't take it too literally. I've already noticed that I included Red Text posts along with Actioned posts, which I need to fix up.

2 - The post counting begins Friday, 7/27 at noon PST(3 PM EST); users may & have been posting already, and if multiple users reach 1000 posts in a close, short window, the younger account wins(just as in sex with James Gunn or Dan Harmon)
3 - Posting may take place on any board, and posts may be any length. If you think the video games board is safer, go for it. Nowhere is safe on ReeEra unless you have brown tranny cock in your mouth 24/7.

Because that is not how you encourage devs from big studios to post there. I have to wonder if it's an actual Bethesda employee or someone just using a popular game name to hide the fact that they're actually Ubisoft or something.

Also big kudos to CrunkLord's node map, that looks like it'll be hilarious to parse the busy nodes for their dumb activity going forward. Maybe some of our surviving contestants can use their accounts to post uncomfortable data about some of their "star" users in the near future. [/spoiler]

You know, one of my more autistic 'revenge fantasies' involves buying the server a forum like this is on. Then setting up an account, that's basically 'unbannable'.

And then proceeding to trigger the living fuck out of every idiot on there. Politely. No profanity, minimal aggressiveness, just calmly point out their unbelievable derpitude.

Any idiot can kill other idiots. But it's FAR more fun to crush their souls with the knowledge you can't be shut up at someone's whim.
