Today Phil learned that No Man's Sky wasn't made new from scratch. It's still the same core gameplay. What does he expect?! A complete new game?
And apparently they add "nothing new of value". Except the better graphics, the better terrain generation, better planets, way better performance, a massive ton of minor but great details and better controls, complete crafting mechanism overhaul, 3rd person with avatar editor which he never used, base building, several storylines and much more. NMS is finally on a level where you need to actively hate crafting- and survival-games to still completely trash it. So basically like Phil, but I'm so 200% sure he went on this game with the intention of calling it still bad, because it's cool to hate NMS, way too obvious. And he hates every game he ever played except for a broken Street Fighter game, so this comes as an addition. He should just stop playing games, he's unable to enjoy them.
He also complaints he played for nearly 4 hours and is still in the tutorial. Yes you are. The tutorial never really ends until you unlock each major mechanism because there will always be something new, this is an experience for many hours. He expects a specific formula which NMS doesn't use because it wouldn't fit the style, but somehow it's still NMS' fault, like usual. He can't comprehend how the slow approach in each mechanic, so even the most stupid pigroach can understand it, is already part of the game.

Hey, I'm not fine with what No Man's Sky did during release. But at least you have to give some slack for the major improvements over these years, for actually creating a playable and finally thought out game. I also hated this game for a long time but now it's a neat time waster. And this sudden update which basically changed half the game, quite amazing.

I have no clue why he almost never plays any games with fans. His cult would even be dumb enough to do a cheer contest as to which people play with him for said session. And im not even a fortnite fan but he could easily made a good bit off playing with fans. Same for PUBG. Even in this game here I bet some of his retard cult would have donated to run around with him. Sea of thieves he chose to play with the 3 people who gave the highest tips that day. Well queen was #1 but didnt want his voice exposed and his gamer tag shown so he could be low key, but the others all tossed between 75-$150 iirc

Also seems pretty clear to me the youtube hit he took was nothing Major. Was clear he wasnt getting shit views wise. Normally hed be bitching everyday. Holding some type of birth week fundraiser. But hes not. Hasn't really been in any insane panic mode nor has he brought it up all that much compared to what hes done in the past. That said he def will whip out that narrative some time in the next week or so as a wait to bait some new money

If it makes you feel better, hearing about this and the Next update got me back in after being really negative about it 2 years ago, and it is definitely a cleaner, 'busier', better presented game. Played about 5 hours today, I'm having a great time.

I'd expect Phil to LIKE the tutorial if anything, since he's almost incapable of building his own story out without clear bread crumbs. Someone mentioned throwing him at Subnautica or another game that does absolutely NO hand holding - that would be awful. We know exactly what reaction he'd have, in service of trying to shit on a game I genuinely enjoy

Hints at a dichotomy between the stream viewers who pull their weight, and the YouTube viewers who are not yet invested (emotionally or financially) in his plight.

Lowkey threatens to stop YouTube uploads altogether to corral the YouTube viewership into the ranks of the paying.

Yeah, he's both A) TERRIFIED of trolls and B) has zero creativity as to how to promote his business and engage his audience (that last part going directly back to A because he is so scared of trolls slipping through.

Last year I remember Markiplier and Jacksepticeye did a cool thing where they played a PUBG co-op in zombie mode where they were a team and fans played as the zombies and it was a really fun video to watch. That's the type of thing he could do a cheer goal or something for and, even IF trolls participated, bug deal! He'd get their bits and there is literally no way they could negatively effect him. They'd just be zombies trying to kill him.

I know that's a specific example, but it's just one of 100 things he could do to engage with his audience in a way that is also profitable to him if he has even the slightest ability to think outside the box and didn't have a crippling fear of detractors.

He could do tons of these kinds of fun and interactive things literally on a weekly basis. And they're the types things he SHOULD be trying like hell to come up with to grow his audience and income since his old stand by of jus counting on playing new AAA games to bring in viewers hasn't been a viable way to attract anyone new for literally years.

First off, fuck dave and his fat face. He’s crying about an extra 300 dollars a month, yes extra. We all know it’s extra money, he doesn’t do anything special on YouTube to warrant making a ton of money, it’s literally double dipping, sometimes triple dipping because he gets payed before he plays Patreon games.

Idk about all of you but if I did all my work for the day and got an extra 10 bucks each day after driving home I’d be pretty happy, that’s solid pocket money a month, but then again I live within my means, and I’m not the greediest mother fucker on the planet.

The 4 top cheerers have given ~$2000 in cheers and tips as posted before. They have, between the 4 of them, gifted 8 subs total this month. Add 4 subs (all at the Tier 1 level, which gives Phil $2.50), and you get 12 * $2.50 = $30. They're nowhere near $4000 themselves unless one of them completely tards out before the end of the month (a distinct possibility).

Your final sentence, however, is much more accurate, as there are tipping whales as well (007blaine has done large tips before, as has Afghanistan, but most of the large tips have been anonymous, so it's hard to attribute).
