So he's begging like this now, and he's not even actually hurting for money yet. This shitting on his YouTube viewers and demanding money from them is still just more narcissistic deflection and denial, reality hasn't even set in yet. This REEEmergency video is just business as usual. Yes, he's being very shitty, but for Dave this is as shitty as he normally is. I just wanted to point out this isn't even one of the exceptional videos we will see from him, this is a run of the mill REEmergecy video for him IMO

Phil started a mission in Vice City where he had to follow a dood in a car. A mission he's fully aware of.
He got distracted by his phone, couldn't follow the car and failed the mission.
His chat was not happy, like with many things he did today. For example reloading a savefile because he died right after finishing a mission. But he don't wanted to buy his weapons again so apparently it's more efficient to redo the whole mission. Which is the very one he looked at his phone.
I swear, today it's hard to differentiate between Tevin's chat and Phil's chat. But they can write whatever they want anyway because he only reads comments with donations.

I work full time and stream part time. Plus have a family. Plus have outside hobbies. Plus have a house to maintain and guess what: I still find luls in my life with nothing to do. This CHUD cries daily about having no time now and then threatens us with having to become a full time streamer?

We've been here before more times than I care to count and he's always managed to skitter away at the last possible second. I'd guess this isn't the END and he still has some mileage left to sink even further. Even if you don't think he's stashed some cash his twitch alone is still enough for a comfortable middle class life. If YT does not pan out my guess is he'll shift into hardcore shill mode next. Serious question. I'm not very familiar with the American way of renting condos or Phil's situation. Is there a big pile of money he still has to pay or is it just the usual monthly lease costs (lease rental charges? English, difficult sometimes)? If it's just the monthly costs couldn't he just ask to get the contract killed? I mean, if I would want to relocate my home (rented apartment) I just need to say: "Can we kill the contract on [date], I wanna move". I'm not obliged to find a new tenant, it's the job of the landlords.
So what's the big difference here?

To be specific, he tried one time to SHORT-sell it. I don't think he's even attempted to actually sell, mainly because it's only worth half of what he paid for it (and that was BEFORE the giant hole in the roof). I'm pretty sure that if he did manage to sell it then he would have to pay off the rest of the mortgage in one large sum, which he doesn't have and the sale of the condo would probably not even cover it.

This is also a reminder that Phil needed 74 gifted subs to get to 478. That number also includes 80 new Twitch subs (which don't auto-renew). Basically, next month may be an absolute shitshow in terms of subs, especially at the beginning and very end (going into September, due to the 3 day grace period). And congrats to Phil on almost passing $6400 (he may be past it, depending on tips). This is shaping up to be his best Twitch month by far. Shame about that whole Adsense thing.

Posted during the pre-prestream where music is playing and Dave has yet to announce going live. Good to see olks in the chat paying to help out the college graduate run his business...

I enjoyed the in-chat reply better than Dave explaining that he has to do these things and that Every other streamer out there does this as well. I had to laugh when he remarked that unlike the other streamers, he (Dave) doesn't 'stop while playing the game to talk about money'
