This made me laugh WAY too hard. Thank you for that thread link @SoapQueen1

What did we estimate the annual hosting costs for that forum to be for Phil? $1500-2000? Money well spent as usual Phil.

He did claim it was a lot of money before, if he's paying anything more than $250 a year for such a dead site then he's a fucking idiot. Back like 8 years ago I was able to run an IRC and 3 game servers serving about 250 users on a server that cost €35 a month.

He has no idea what would happen if he stopped paying for the CT condo. He doesn't know what the tax or insurance ramifications there would be. He'd have to ask a professional.

Note he does not say he doesn't know what the credit ramifications would be.

This guy, how has he not looked into this.... last year when he was trying to do the short sale, he should have been asking these questions. I'm pretty sure any forgiven debt from a foreclosure would be taxable income for DSP, it is a bit complicated but I think it would work this way for him. DSP is too concerned about his credit score, which already sucks. He is drowning in debt but doesn't want to do anything that might hurt the precious credit score.

Why did this come up, was it a response to a cheer?

He has claimed "thousands" plural of dollars a year. He could do it on a free webhost.

Here's the different pricing options for the forum software: https://invisioncommunity.com/buy

My guess (since Onyx is the "webmaster") is that Phil went with the self-hosting option, although the pricing is a little confusing. Looks like it could be around $500-600 up front, but the renewals are only around $200-250 a year. So I haven't the faintest where the "thousands" a year are coming from.

Edit: also just noticed that his Patreon dropped almost $100 and at least 5 pledges. I know that happens at the beginning of every month, but it'll be interesting to see how much of it comes back.

There is a chest Phil has neglected in the middle of a dangerous stream running through the mine. Over top of the chest is a board suspended by two spare pieces of lumber. Someone suggests breaking the board and falling onto the chest. "You can't break wood while you're standing on it," Phil informs the viewer, "Let me show you". Standing atop the rickety board, Phil sees indicators appear over the supporting lumber. "Oh, it's letting me break the wood. It wasn't letting me do it before". Phil breaks the wood and falls to his death.
Oh no, the South Park DLC "gameplay", I just watched maybe an hour but this was more than enough for me ... Yeah, I think I will skip some livestreams from now on. He gets more painful to watch with each new game, it's not even funny for lolcow-reasons anymore. You just see and hear this guy and think: This "man" stopped thinking, he's just on autopilot and waits for the money, dummy. His love for videogames goes so deep as like eating a bag of potatoe chips, it's just there, it gets consumed without appreciation, and then it's empty and you throw it away. This is not a person anymore, it's an automated robot in which you put in some coins to make him dance. Or an empty begging zombie, his constant moaning and "uuuuuh" already fits this analogy very well.

He needs ages for easy puzzles, he asks chat for each little decision (handholding is massive), he's incapable of fighting without making obvious stupid decisions or asking for advice, he makes South Park and basically every game look extremely boring (as also pointed out by a lot of Tevin's audience) and he dances around like a re.tarded clown (I'm not a clown or children's entertainer!1). What kind of personality is this supposed to be? He just sits up his time and takes the money. Geez, I might sound like this is my first day on KF.

There were these stairs he had to construct by moving an explosive to a specific point and use it as an additional step. So far so good, he made that, walks them up, walks them back down. But then he made a board fall down on these stairs on purpose, the board obviously blocks the stairs and he shouts: "Huuuuh? Why can't I walk up? .... Huuuuh? *looks at chat* I don't get it. Huuu? I could do it a second ago".
I thought using your Rewind-Fart in the very first round to counter a simple enemy attack was stupid (and wasted) as it gets, but the way he couldn't comprehend what he actually did in the puzzle was just too much for me. I just can't. It hurts. He gets senile. And blind because he overlooks so much obvious shit, it's unbelievable. 2 enemies right in his face and he hasn't noticed them until they moved towards him.

And of course his jokes are awful and won't get better by following up with a belch or throat clear, but this goes without saying. What happened to the good magic Seattle air? Could it be his house is dusty as fuck and this was his problem? Time to watch for a new house with less dust, man.

he doesn't need a fucking website. He could just have a Discord and subreddit. We all know why he doesn't though.

Rofl. Far, far too complicated for that quarterwit, & wayyyy too far outside the bounds of his latex suit comfort radius with regard to shielding his hemophiliac ego. When he went slithering back over to youtube to livestream after his second twitch ban, one of the first throaty snorts he unleashed was pisscrying about how youtube chat lacks the censorship controls he wants.

He would have to post at least 2 of his cuckpigs on both platforms 24/7 to make sure no one said hurty things about him or posed rational queries that might poison the well of his deeply impressionable audience when he wouldn't be there to insult/delete the offender.

Lol yeah. No way. He bruises & shits his pants way too easily to operate on such breatheable avenues of communication. He'd rather spend the $ on his own cyber North Korea & commission one of his hapless devpigs to design & run that for free.
