He doesn't restream Dave on Twitch, and most of his Twitch subs are ppl who actually enjoy him as a commentor and watching him play games.

If he monetized his Youtube channel he'd be making bank, those 24hr streams consistently stay between 300-1200 viewers the whole time.

I've had Tevin restreams going on my phone when I need some background noise and people would tip from time to time and the message would be read by a text-to-speech bot. I also want to say people would also send bits through his twitch and that would have a notification as well. Not entirely sure, though. I do think most of Tevin's youtube audience is people who want him to just shit on DSP all the time while the twitch audience likes the other stuff he does that's not solely about DSP.

Ppl are saying I should work out or meet ppl on my day off. Well, this would be a great idea, a very healthy productive one BUT this is not how real life works, okay? This is my time off. I want to relax and have a good time, with my girlfriend, relax and watch tv. Drink booze, rant on Twitter how everyone is a shill but me, try to not think about detractors and the negative situation I'm in. My initial point was, he would and will always find an excuse why especially HE can't do what people suggest. It's always the detractors, it's always the time he has not. Sure, I'll give him some slack in this special circumstance, even playing games nonstop and thinking about bad jokes and new ways to scam the audience demands a vacation. It's his decision how he spends his free time (I would roundhouse kick everyone who tries to decide my evening, weekends or vacations).

But this is not what Phil usually says. He makes up excuses why he can't do all these really cool positive things (but he really would do that, just like Project 7, shortening his prestreams or move his loveseat) instead of just saying "I don't want to". Do you know Phil is an honest real guy?

He hated the alpha games
Nobody likes 1
He claims to like 3, but will shit on it just as bad as 4 or 5 when he starts losing

This isn’t just a dave exclusive thing though, many pre SF4 players are vocal about how much they dislike 4 and 5 and how much one of the older ones is better, that’s something dave shares with his gay butt buddy LTG. He started with 3 and shit on 4 so much and couldn’t wait for 5, then shit on it for basically the same reasons as he did 4 and how none of this shit would fly in his beloved 3rd strike.

If you want to hate on shit that’s fine, but at least acknowledge you just hate it because it’s different from the game you put on this massive pedestal(and street fighter 2 isn’t pedestal worthy anymore)

So he got rid of the week in preview. What is the purpose then of his kingofhatevlogs channel? He has canceled, DSP tries it, Poorly cooking with king and the week in preview. He's becoming lazier and lazier at a time when his income is decreasing. I just think it's incredibly risky for him to only focus on gaming. He needs autistic content to keep people engaged and following him.

To be fair, Street Fighter V is dog shit. But even a broken clock is right twice a day with Phil.

Phil doesn't even put the GOOD versions of Super Turbo on a pedestal - only his precious jank-ass PS1 port.

Admittedly I don't keep up with Street Fighter at all, but didn't Arcade Edition come with a bunch of fixes to make SFV good, or am I giving Capcom's fighting game division too much credit?

Not really, no. Same shit as before. Ryu is still bad. Characters like Bison and Guile still have jab anti-air. There's still throw loops. The game still rewards YOLO play styles. It's still a bad game that underperformed with only two million units sold.

The only reason why it's still doing well at tournaments is because of all the E-sports cash being injected into it.

That tshirt is terrible and almost certainly runs afoul of branding issues if someone wanted to point YT and Twitch in his direction.

. . . it's like how difficult would it have been to make an actually interesting "anniversary" shirt?
