Dr. Phil - Today's prestream is sponsored by Pfizer™

He did claim in the vlog where he revealed his tax problems, that he was "suffering" from some disease or illness that he had since before going on YT!
He claims it's hereditary now and he had an aunt that had it but never told anybody. To which if she never told anybody, how did he find out?

But if your aunt has it, that's not hereditary. The only way it can be hereditary is if one of your parents, grandparents or possibly great-grandparents had it. And since we know his parents don't have it and most likely his grandparents don't have it this means his aunt just had a shitty diet and drank too much like Philbert does.

Well we will just have to wait and see what it is or when he needs money again and needs people to pity him!

"Uhhh... I DON'T HAVE TIME TO EXERCISE! REAL TALK! I don't have ANY free time until the night, when it's TOO LATE to exercise! We have RULES here in this facility that we can not make noise after 10pm!"

Not even addressing the idiocy of 'exercise = loud noises,' this guy yells at his TV well after 10PM and doesn't get shit for it from the neighborhood.

Ahhh, that's why he can't have sex with his maid.

Exactly. His symptoms were textbook because that's the language that's used when describing it. And gout doesn't go away. There's literally only three things you can do for it. The first is stop eating foods that cause it. We're talking things that contain purine. This means meats, seafood, some plants and alcohols. And yet we've seen Philbert ingest all these things post gout but kept saying that he managed to beat it with changing his diet. Just like he managed to cure his bad back with the fresh Seattle air except when he needs to remind his paypigs that he has a bad back.

The second way to stop it is to take medication. NSAIDs are typically given for mild cases and if this was just one toe this is most likely what he had. We're literally talking Advil here. If it was a bad case he could get some medications or even cortosol injections into the joint. And the third thing is ice to reduce the swelling, raise the joint in question and drink plenty of fluids with the exception of sodas and alcohol.

But he's saying his foot swelled up to 1 1/2 times it's size and was bright pink. That's not gout. That's something else like an infection or he did some physical damage to it.

So yeah. He probably hit WebMD, ticked off his options and said that had to be it. And yet now he's saying that the medication he got from his doctor was $300.00.

Yes, but he, poor, long suffering man, made the difficult switch to chicken burgers, which are healthy af. That is just heroic.

They must be absolutely coated in dust. Like when something like the cooker hood filter gets both dusty and greasy? Goddamn, am off to bleach my whole house.

He's also claimed to have depression.
From the little I heard of Phil explaining his depression it sounded more like he just gets sad when he has moments of clarity. He said he gets depressed if he has a stream where he thinks he "worked his ass off" but nobody shows up. It makes him think nobody cared about what he did that day, and then he gets sad. There was more to it that sounded like a detractor rant, but I just skimmed through the rest.

If anyone was a candidate for depression it is a shut in, past his prime let's player forced to sit down and play games he hates because he can't get a job that pays anywhere close. Maybe Phil is depressed, but the examples he threw out were less depression and more just sad for a moment until Kat takes the cookies out of the oven.

Yeah, DSP doesn't know the difference between deflated mood and depression. When he loses interest in late night TV/movie binges and gin, I'll be willing to believe he's depressed.

This

It kinda ticked me off hearing him talk about depression when depression would mean mysterious absences in his streaming. You know, from not getting out of bed because its pointless, you cant do it.

Not, "oh panda left me and i kinda miss her"

Face it Phil, you fucked up a good thing, but youre not depressed.

I am beginning to suspect that Dave could be developing Type 2 Diabetes based on his frequent need to use the restroom. Frequent urination is a symptom of Type 2 Diabetes. Traditionally, he did take a bathroom break at the halfway point of his streams, but recently he has begun to take these breaks after his prestream as well. What has become a it of a running joke, may actually be a sign of an illness here. Dave doesn't seem capable of waiting longer than two hours between visits to the lavatory and this wasn't always the case. Granted, this could be another stall tactic to illicit those a few more cheers before he is forced to start playing the game of the day. It could also be why Dave refuses to stream past the end of his shift in the evenings and at times clocks out early. He needs to go pee, but if he took a break to do so, folks would expect him to stream well past Kat's bedtime ( which is apparently not allowed ) even though the master bedroom is at the other end of the hall and Kat said during one of those Q&A *cough* I mean irl streams that she doesn't hear him 'working' when she's in the bedroom.

The FAS theory for why Dave is the way he is intrigues me more with successive mentions. Anybody buying it?

hearing the above video talk about how he admits he's overweight makes me think of a lot of things.

In his own forums he once described strenuous exercise as walking around, doing groceries, and carrying groceries into car and home.

But does anyone also know where the clip would be in how he bragged he finally got another girlfriend and he legit said along the lines of "of course I got another girlfriend, I'm handsome and good looking"

Why the fuck does he not get eyes check? He is very bad at seeing things.
Because Kat has the car, because he would look like totally uncool with glasses, because his "eyes are fine he only need glasses for far distances" (meme, his TV is a million miles away from him), he doesn't have the money, he doesn't have the time and finally something about detractors (aka the negative influence).

But I don't think his eyes are that bad. He can read most of dialogues without any mistake and often even smaller text. Sure he has to go very close to his laptop to read the chat but it's a (small?) device with probably small text.

I tipp on a lack of awareness as the main reason for his blindness. He says it himself, he's super focused on a game. :powerlevel: If I'm super focused in games I also blend out obvious other aspects even if it jumps right in front of me. Maybe not a good multitasker? I dunno.
