Matt you fat stupid cunt, you're nowhere near popular enough to have a troll sending copyright claims to other channels. Nobody fucking believes that you didn't strike Ralph's channel. Its the most obvious fucking thing in the world. He clearly had someone at YouTube delete that shit or did the strike from another channel, knowing he might get caught. As Zidan mentioned, he has 4 other channels and who knows what he did it from.

I've known people like Matt in my life. They're cowardly faggots who have to do everything behind your back and when confronted they grovel and plead like a little bitch, trying to play on your compassion. They deserve none and most of the time get crushed. In reality, Matt would be ostracized/fired/booted out of university (I've seen all three). I wouldn't have given him any advice, because fuck Matt. People like him don't change. He's a coward at heart who can't stand not being liked and is desperately trying to be one of the biggest 'influencers' out there. He's not only a snake, a liar and a coward, but he's a fucking re.tard. He was part of Gamergate, and no one in the media is going to listen to you or make you get into your special little club if you even touched that with a ten foot poll.
If he had the balls, he would have. He should have just admitted it and blown everyone up. His career is over anyway, you can't salvage this. But that's not him. His ego is far too fragile to ever do that and he thought by 'apologizing', people would have compassion for him and he can salvage something out of his dying channel. I'm going to say this as well: a mental illness does not fucking excuse your behavior. It isn't a get out of jail free card. I watch the Killstream on the regular and Ralph gets so much more shit than Matt could dream of by his chat. No bans, no blocks, no nothing. Say what you will about Ralph, he sticks to his principles.
The best thing to come out of this is that Matt's career is done. He will never, ever live this down. The amount of fan-bases he pissed off that have rabid users will just come down on him. Every time a video mocking Matt gets struck, people will know who did it. There is no speculation anymore, no one will ever believe him again. The sheer amount of videos to come out about this ensures that he can't strike all of them.
What did you expect? It was obvious for years that he was a spineless piece of shit with no standards. The Candid scandal especially comes to mind. First he accepted money from a company to shill for a company, and then when it was obvious that their claims to privacy were complete lies he accepted even more money to "debunk" Harmful Opinions' videos on the matter. This second video ended with Matt saying, and I quote: "There is no such thing as free speech on the internet." Here he completely contradicted the statements of his first video where he praised Candid specifically for its supposed free speech policies.
My pet theory as to why Matt behaves the way he does is that he has essentially given up on life. He is of the thousands of talentless film nerds who tried to make it in the entertainment industry and failed miserably. His entire post-GG existence has just consisted of him hopping from one bandwagon to the next, desperately trying to promote himself in order to get some of that sweet e-cash.
Oh, this. Soooo this. He is desperate to be famous and someone respected. I knew 2 LA film people growing up who failed. One was extremely, extremely fucking bitter at the world and just did similar things like Matt. Cowardly, pretending to be all milquetoast, but with an ego as fragile as an eggshell who would do terrible shit to people to fuck them over because he couldn't take it. At the end of the day he was flipping burgers I think, because he was so hated by everyone and alienated all his friends and connections, it was the only job he could get. This was before YouTube obviously. The other made short films for the hell of it. They sucked, but they were his hobby and worked a normal job.
