So right now in Seattle a man supposedly stole a plane from SeaTac International Airport, all flights in the area are grounded and air traffic control is in contact with him trying to teach him mid-flight how to land the plane. The most interesting part of this is the hijacker has been threatening to do a barrel roll.

A plume of smoke was reported near Ketron Island, Washington, after authorities received reports that a plane was stolen from Seattle Airport Friday night, according to the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).

Petty Officer Ali Flockerzi said one of the USCG's 45-foot rescue boats was headed to the scene.

The island is between Tacoma and Olympia, she said.

It wasn't clear what kind of plane was involved or whether or not passengers were on board.

Alaska Airlines tweeted, "We are aware of an incident involving an unauthorized take-off of a Horizon Air Q400. We believe there are no passengers on board. More information as we learn more."

The stolen plane reports were received about 8:30 p.m. PDT, and the plume was reported about 15 minutes later, Flockerzi said.

We are aware of an incident involving an unauthorized take-off of a Horizon Air Q400. We believe there are no passengers on board. More information as we learn more.

Edit: two fighter jets might have shot the plane down.

Moral of the story: pay the people who maintain your million dollar planes more than minimum wage.

Naturally the same left Twitter that talks about mental health every time a Snackbar shoots up or bombs something is sneering at this guy and mocking his privilege.
Good Gosh Golly! It's almost like the issues themselves are just means to an end; that of feeling virtuous over the nonbelievers.

Not only that, they are usually pretty sketchy people who cant get other work or under 18 and its their first job.
Well that goes without saying. Lowest wage possible and bad working conditions means that only desperate people will work there.

Honestly with how much airlines cut to save costs they are lucky these are isolated incidents.

Yeah those pictures of him happy next to his wife fucking hurt *sigh*

It sucks to see how the world ground him down enough to make him want to do what he did (even though it was fucking awesome and he meant no harm to anyone else).

This dude is fucking metal man. Took a passenger plane and barrel rolled it. He stole and air plane for a joy ride and made the nation talk about it with a feeling of pride and wistful appreciation of his deed. This dude shall live on in the hearts of all that remember him.

But seriously, this was pretty epic. He managed to turn a stole airplane joy ride into a working man's revolt against the system. Awesome.

Crazy Little shit bags go shoot up churches and schools, killing people, to try to grab underserved infamy and their pathetic names on the news cycle.

Crazy awesome dude, hurt no one, cracks jokes and goes out flying a stolen plane like bad mofo over Puget Sound.

I hope he and KillDozer have a beer together in the afterlife and talk about how awesome they are.

It's kinda surreal to see all these news sites take clips from a blog he was required to make for a college class to draw judgement about him.

I took a similar class and would fucking hate if the media drew a picture of me from required college homework.

I hope his widow is taken care of, he sounds like a chill dude. If I had the same opportunity to go out in a blaze of glory like this I'm not sure if I wouldn't take it.

I think he actually put a lot of planning and thought into pulling a stunt like this, and when the moment was right he took it. He probably had chances in the past but didn’t take it for various reasons. Maybe something in his life triggered it, and when the opportunity arose again he fucking took it and ran flew.
