Edit: And if you've ever seen the TIHYDP of the Madden '12 playthrough, it was among the saltiest bitchfests I've seen from Phil, and that's saying something. So it's telling that that is what Swagginz think is hilarious. It's not Phil playing well, but Phil being a fuckup and not knowing what to do that he likes.

There were bits of it where it seemed like Phil was just like any other guy. I know I've yelled out "five yards, ten yards, seven yards, 23 yards! Touchdown! Fuck you!" or something similar a few times when I was watching a football game.

It's honestly probably in my top TIHYDPs, that madden 12 playthrough. A lot of the crap he yells out is stuff you would hear at any given stadium/bar on any given Saturday/Sunday so it's funny to me to hear him yell out the same stuff at a video game where he isn't even really seeing the action. He's just watching a bar advance across the screen.

Question for those capable of thinking straight: was there a Pre-Stream on August 9 that I'm too much of a sleepy idiot to find?

I was glancing through Overustle Logs to double-check something drgnkiller mentioned and noticed that right near the beginning Phil insults someone, stirring chat to buz about it for the next minute.

Either or both of these messages could have provoked Phil's ire. Chat seems to mention both, and they come one after the other:

5 minutes before this happened, npbsmith2 sent a 100 Cheer to get himself on Phil's Leaderboard. The August 9 H1z1 stream begins with that Cheer already on it.

Did Phil dump on his viewers and then upload that stream with the insults at the beginning cut off?

In other news - According the drgnkiller:

The tweet was on August 10. On August 10 TheLordLambv3 became the newest mod in DSP's chat. If that's who drgnkiller is referring to, TheLambLambV3 appeared at the beginning of June, not "last month". Perhaps nitpicking. Just trynna keep things accurate.

Note the times on those time stamps - 2am UTC is 7pm PDT, that's as the informal prestream for the 2nd stream of H1Z1 is ending. DSP almost never records prestream for 2nd stream, he's never given a good reason why.

The only reason DSP started recording & uploading prestreams to YouTube was because the DSP Archives channel (not related to drgnkiller) would post them along with large chunks/entire streams from Twitch. DSP ranted and raved about this channel and decided to post the prestreams himself.

Perhaps Snort Burnell has something, but for now your best bet is this partial version in Mrhuth Stuff's H1Z1 Q&A upload - the first few minutes show prestream art.

Apparently they differ based on region which is weird considering it's only US partners that are allowed to access them at the moment. Once enough partners claim the bounty, the funding will run out and it will be removed. The partner I spoke to only had 1 bounty available and it was Dissidia Final Fantasy.

He beat the SOK, he beat Tevins bitch ass twice, he manages to stay afloat somehow even though his tax situation. The detractors need to understand that they can hate all they want in the end DSP has you by the balls and shits down your throats. To be fair, it's almost impossible to get axed from Twitch unless you really fuck up visibly. Cosmo got like 14 chances and only got banned permanently for streaming porn.

That's one of my favorite Phil gameplay moments ever. There really was nothing he could do. A reaction so filled with disgust and shock that it's real, and more importantly, it's relatable. Watching helplessly as your team shits the bed will definitely draw that type of reaction out of someone, which is what makes it so funny. Now that Phil is a streamer, everything he does is calculated clown shit that nobody can relate to. It's a huge reason why he's declined in popularity.

Couple of minutes in DPS's stream:
-Phil just said that he won't announce sponsored streams until right before because the detractors will try to contact the devs and tell them about all of the shit he's done and blah blah blah.
-Someone tipped and asked if he would play Super Metroid Prime 4. Phil says the last one he played was super long and people didn't watch it because it's an old school nintendo game (lol wut). Then he recommended nominating it for his stupid ass patron's choice shit. Guys, make sure you become patrons. If you're a sub that helped make that goal then fuck you.
-Someone asks if Phil recommends BMW for a car. Phil says his was the bottom tier, cheapest BMW they had (even though it had GPS, heated steering wheel and heated seats) and "he didn't own it, it was leased." Says that BMW fixes car no matter what for free as long as it's being leased. What he really liked about the car was that it had a built in gps in the dash. Because that's a BMW thing I guess lol. Says his current car is half the monthly price of the BMW.
