Funny, before she locked her account for a while I was talking about this with someone I follow, and apparently Andrea has written NSFW of the Bang Dream! Girls' Band Party characters who are all under 18. She's a fucking adult. Some of my mutuals were also mad at me for being upset about that specifically, as well as her hyperfixation on fictional underaged lesbians.

Some context: the person that is talked about, Mombot, is a Japanese housewife who was a part of Gamergate. Many people tried to have proven that she's not who she says she is, and some are even devs on western game companies, and it caused a huge wildgooosechase for a Zach guy, who was literally made up to let people believe that Mombot was a white dude who still watched Naruto, causing mass twitter deletions and protections due to them outright admitting "Yeah we tried to dox a woman who we thought was posing as a man and found a literal goddamn faker."

Now whether or not that this is a driving force, it seems that Amelia Cook no longer follows Mombot after this incident. Whether or not she was quietly harrassed or whatever was done to make her unfollow it shines a light to what this dude can do to ruin someone's career over following someone.

Edit: I'd actually like to mention that Anime Feminist/Amelia Cook is also a pretty cool person and isn't one of those screeching autists, and even brings up multiple times that media doesn't have to be feminist. Seems like "NicoMaki" could learn a bit about that from her.

Both characters are 17 in the series (outside of a single scene set in the future where they are in entirely different countries), and aren’t even canonically together to my knowledge - though Torbjoern has a series of extremely long twitter threads claiming otherwise. Anyway, this is invoking vomit feelings.

Even if Torbjorn here was a cisgendered woman, the fixation with little girls as a 27 year old is vomit-worthy. The girl in his Twitter picture from the post in this thread from May 16th is a literal elementary school kid. Watching him toss around being "trans" as a way to browbeat the person he's (poorly) arguing against is the embodiment of undeserved tranny smugness.

All this over a line in a video game that can be seen more as either the world thinking demons can't be that bad because the cult led by the scientist lady from the first game managed to gain some foot hold or more likely because the UAC is using some lingo to sound more accepting or something over their own mess.
