I too couldn't tell who those guys were until someone pointed it out. The new submission has about 4,500 views and only managed to get less than 200 favorites in a day.

For Korra being extremely popular on DeviantArt, that is pretty bad.

I saw that he's only 31 in one of his recent tweets. I always thought he was at least 8 or so years older and should know better, but he's basically from the first generation of the "Everyone's a winner" and "Critics are just jealous trolling poopy heads" people.

Dobson, proving how immature, unprofessional and unbearable he really is. If he ever did make it into the business, I could see him getting fired for this behavior so CWC his furry blue head would spin. The dude is a tweeting PR nightmare waiting to happen.

I think his whole "women are being discriminated because girls in games wear skimpy outfits and have big boobs" is bullshit. I mean yeah there are plenty of games that have girls in super revealing and impractical outfits just for the sake of showing off their body, but most girls I know who are into games don't really mind because they say they actually kinda like playing as a sexy girl or they say they don't actually care about it as long as they're a good character. And it's the same with guys, for every busty girl wearing a bikini in a game there's also a totally jacked bare chested dude with flowing hair wearing nothing but a loincloth. But nobody seems to give a shit about that.

Tom Preston just likes the attention. So, he's going to say anything he damn well feels like saying because it validates what he's doing in his opinion. He doesn't care about art anymore, he just cares about stirring shit up and if people respond negatively, then he thinks he's some genius because the common rabble clearly doesn't know what they're talking about.

As long as the skimpy outfits and poses don't look too stupid, I have no real problem. Besides, it's always fun to laugh at the really dumb stuff and learn what not to do.

See I wouldn't call it discrimination and more like exploitation. Video games are a male dominated medium, behind the scenes and those buying it. Having women in skimpy costumes is trying to appeal to the perceived audience on the most base of levels. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Gaming is hardly the first medium to do this and they won't be the last. To be fair I think over the past decade or so gaming has gotten away from this. Companies have tried to focus more on story no matter what gender the lead character is. I think video games have come a long way from Tomb Raider models at E3 and Lara Croft appearing in Maxim or whatever.

I don't think Dobson is wrong when he points this out. The thing is he comes off as a whiny child by doing it on Twitter. If he shut up and just didn't buy what he finds objectionable everything would be fine. Instead he goes on Twitter and tries to feel morally superior and/or provoke nerds.

Yes. He thinks Other M is awesome and amazing while the Prime trilogy is horrible, unplayable shit. Yeah, I know. Can anyone confirm if he's bad at games in general? If so it might explain a bit. He might've found the first game vague in terms of what to do even with the hint system on, lacking in story because he couldn't be assed to scan and read everything, and overall difficult to play in general. So of course he wanted nothing to do with the other two because it was more of the same. Other M meanwhile holds your hand, doesn't offer in depth storytelling (and nothing extra from what they show you), and fails to depict Samus as a strong (if silent) female character who can take care of herself. You know, the same exact thing Dobson has a hard time doing himself despite claiming to be a feminist.
